Had a brain wave... for a vacation, why not go on a cruise? They depart near to where I live and the liners are plush luxury, even for inside cabins. Food is well catered for with an extensive menu, excursions are numerous, on ship entertainment plentiful and - here's the gem - they're cheap! $800 for a 11 night cruise around the Mediterranean

Just one problem - it's not Disney...

I have always views cruises as a petri dish of germs. Then we had a recent event in the world happen and you couldn't pay me $800 to take a cruise let alone charge me $800.

There’s nothing wrong with a non-Disney cruise, unless the only reason you even wanted to cruise was to get a Disney fix. There are some very good cruise lines out there. I do recommend that you do your research so you know exactly what they offer for the price. Each line has its own strengths and weaknesses, and what is included on one line might cost an extra fee on another.
