Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party 2024

I still think its crazy they don't do these Weekend days....all other haunt events at the other socal parks
They're trying not to do so much damage to day-ticket purchases, especially as popular as those days are at DLR. Fridays/Saturdays are heavily those. But a day-ticket purchaser might balk on buying a Friday or Saturday where the park closes at 6pm. Since the other days have a higher percentage of AP guests (and a lower percentage of day-ticket buyers), they can move AP availability around to make room more easily. (I think day-tickets are bigger on Sundays at DL compared to DCA.)

The other So Cal parks are generally happy to get anybody through the gates on any given weekend day.

I think they should still try it on a weekend or two

Its DCA, if you rope drop it you can easily get on all rides in that park before 6 PM

And if they were really really worried about it, they could offer something like Lightning Lane Plus or whatever the new name is for free for those days in DCA as an incentive to get people in the part still even though it has reduced hours. Or open an hour or two early.

Assuming they still have crazy demand for the Halloween party... this year will really prove on if demand is still very high and Disney just figured out their ticket issue, or if demand has softened a lot...
