Only using food, where do you live?

Dungeness crab
Salmon
Marionberries
Filberts (a true local would never say hazelnuts)
WE GO A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I posted filberts also...but the only place you can buy them now is a SW border store in AZ and Ca that caters to latin community....I always point the sign out in the produce section to my wife....see I am not as wet behind the ears as you think....to your wonderful list i will add beer hops.

could very well be true....they are closing buffets in Oregon...one oregon chain is closed, one national chain is closed and the best casino in the PNW closed its fantastic buffet in july.. not sure if it was gamblers abandoing their children or Oregon strict laws.

I'd have gone a little farther inland if I were you - to me nothing says {{where you live}} like Okanagan orchard fruit. The peaches and pears are arriving here now and they are sublime. :cloud9:
I haven't had any Okanagan fruit this summer yet 😳🤦😬

Lefsa, Lutefisk, Knoephla, kuchen, hot dish, krumkake, cheese buttons, chippers

All of these could probably describe quite a few places and some of them I won’t touch like
Lutefisk.

Lutefisk is truly vile. My grandmother used to make it every Christmas! :joker:

I know 😳😭 We've had some amazing local corn and blueberries but we dropped the ball when it came to peaches, cherries and the like.
Peaches, plums and pears are just at their prime now. I'll bet there's lovely ones in your local farmers' market. :grouphug: As far as I'm concerned, the Okanagan fruit-belt is one of Canada's most unsung national treasures.
