Only One More Hurdle....COVID Test

My goodness...I usually never stress; however, knowing that I'm now just 4.5 days away from my first ever cruise and having everything approved and ready to go I'm stressing big time for my wife and I to test negative on the COVID test. I work from home so my exposure is very limited to outside avenues (but I have 3 children that attend HS/College) and my wife works in an office.... Just wish that the announcement for no testing would have been made earlier...Oh well...

I have to do something to not be so consumed with it.

We sail Monday. I am not overly concerned, but it is in the back of my mind. Fingers crossed.

Found out that a co-worker tested positive today. I’ve been masking in the office but it’s feeling a little more stressful now with only days left before our proctored test for Mondays cruise. Thinking happy thoughts

I hear you. The pre-COVID testing was a big stress point for us. The first thing we did when we arrived at our hotel was to do the COVID swab for the cruise. Ours were negative. I can not remember that last time that I felt such a huge sigh of relief. We were so happy that we could go on our cruise!!

I totally understand your stress! If it helps, I like to think about cruises with the lens of "the hard part is getting there." I figure once I make it on the boat (or I guess now, once you make it into the port) I'm in good hands and Disney will take care of the rest.
