Only night @MK: CRT+ wishes OR Ohana + wishes from beach?

We will be going to MK the 2nd day of our next trip in May (always have to do TL 1st, weather permitting). We will also be bringing a friend from another country who is very excited to see WDW for the first time!

We have never seen Wishes (or any MK fireworks for that matter -- usually just do Illuminations) but would like to make the effort this time because we have heard it is so good. Also, we have never been to CRT for dinner (only Cinderella breakfast) nor have we been to Ohana's before. Our dds will be almost 2 and almost 5 by the time of our trip.

So, assuming that we will only be spending one evening in MK, which would be better: CRT for dinner and watching the fireworks from Main Street OR Ohana's for dinner and watching Wishes from the Poly beach?

We will be staying at the Beach Club Villas, so the trip home will be a factor. Any transportation tips would be appreciated!

We were there earlier this month and stayed at the Poly. We saw the fireworks from the beach twice and at MK three times. If you can only do it once, you need to see it from inside MK at the front of the castle. If you are in front of the castle, the fireworks go off all around you in the finally.

That said, if dinner is the highlight, I would pick O'Hana's over CRT. But if you can catch O'Hana's late or another night, I'd go for the fireworks at the castle.

You have a clear view of the fireworks from the beach, but the music is really soft and the overall aura is not the same as being in the middle of it at MK.
