A friend (25) and I (30) stayed at POFQ from March 1st through March 9th, and enjoyed a festival of food on the DxDP. Unfortunately my friend ended up having to leave halfway through, leaving me with a plethora of extra credits. My brother came down the next two days so I was able to give him a couple, but that's the reason there may be way more food here than a person should reasonably try to eat. Due to image restraints this post will be broken into several. Also I'm a really crappy photography and these are just cellphone pics, so the pictures will be dark/blurry/bad.
March 1st Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table
What an awesome location to have dinner on arrival day! The castle inside is beautiful, and as a party of 2 we scored a window seat, with a cool view of New Fantasyland (and the cranes taking down the lights...) The ambiance was awesome, the food was just okay and not nearly worth the money, however we did it for the location knowing this already, so it turned out well. I won't be posting many restaurant pictures, but since this one is more about itself than the food...
Inside the Castle:

Our own little window:

The bread was unmemorable, I had taken notes but unfortunately they were all on a phone that has since been lost, so I will be missing my precise thoughts. Anyway the bread:

For starters both DF and I had the cheese trio, which consisted of a bleu, goat and gouda, served with some toast, jam and a single blackberry. I love all cheese so found this passable but unremarkable, my friend was less impressed:

We also both had the Beef Tenderloin cooked Medium Rare. The beef was overcooked and not a very high quality, it was aided well by the onions though. The real star of the plate was the Cheddar Potato Tart in between the spinach and beef, delicious:

For dessert DF had the trio, she said the mouse was delicious while the other two were pretty much left untouched:

I had the signature "The Clock Strikes Twelve" dessert, which was by far my favorite course of the night (though I do have a sweet tooth). A white chocolate filling surrounded by dark chocolate with some graham cracker, its practically a smore, yum!

March 2nd Lunch: Via Napoli
It was very pleasant out when we came to this restaurant and we had a nice outdoor table with pretty prompt service. The food was overall good but I get better pizza at home (chicago) and it hardly reminded me of my days in Italy, so I may hit up one of the Tutto's next time, or lunch here on the dining plan, but I'd never pay the out of pocket prices.
DF started with the mozzarella Caprese:

I started with the Prosciutto e Melone, which is one of my favorite snacks/lunches ever since I was introduced to it abroad, and I make it at home pretty often. As such this was by far the biggest disappointment for me, the prosciutto was very dry as though it had been sitting out for far too long, and the melon under-ripe which just made the whole thing a dry, hard eat:

We both ordered pizza for our mains, DF got the Quattro Formaggi, a mix of mozzarella, parmesan, fontina and provolone cheese. I liked this much more than mine, and wouldd certainly recommend it (though not for $21!!)

I went with the Piccante as a lover of sausage, and it was good but nowhere near what I had expected:

As a hot day was bearing down and we were eating outside we went with gelato for dessert, we were just too full and it was too hot to do the zeppole that is so raved. DF opted for a plain vanilla gelato:

I went with a Gelato Frizzante, which is vanilla gelato and Aranciata, think of it as sort of a more refreshing, Italian version of a root beer float. It really hit the spot:

March 2nd Dinner: Artist' Point
Later in the evening we journeyed to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Artist's Point, and the grounds just blew me away. It was gorgeous, and is among my most desired places to stay when I return.
The Bread, a yummy sourdough with salted butter. To be honest the butter was bland even with the salt, but they try!

We split both starters. To begin we enjoyed the Tamarind Glaze Confit Natural Bacon, which is served with a quail egg, ginger dumpling and sunchoke puree. To put this appetizer in perspective, the egg on top is about the size of a quarter. Even so I would happily shell out twelve dollars for this again, the bacon just disintegrated onto my tongue, lighting all my taste buds on fire, it was that good. Probably the best appetizer of the entire stay.

For our second starter we had the Smokey Portobello Soup, which our waiter was kind enough to split into two bowls in the kitchen for us (and I think he brought us both full portions too, he was pretty awesome). I hate the texture of mushrooms but am okay with the flavour, so I was apprehensive going into this dish, but I had to stop myself from licking the bowl clean, it was awesome:

DF did the signature Cedar Plank-roasted King Salmon for dinner, which they plate tableside. It had the consistency of butter and earns it's reputation as their main dish:

I had the Pacific Northwest Trio, which consisted of a buffalo strip, venison loin and wild game sausage. The Venison and Sausage were largely what I would expect, slightly gamy but not overwhelming, the buffalo strip was just too tough though, I only got through half before I gave up:

We were both pretty full at this point so we ordered the Creme Brulee Trio to share and wrapped up the cobbler, sans ice cream, to go. The trio consisted of a basil white chocolate, a mocha, and a chocolate. The chocolate tasted of cold chocolate pudding, and was the only one either of us found even edible, the other two went into the garbage:

The cobbler was eaten at around 1 am in the middle of tomorrowland, after joining us for a ride on space mountain. It was delicious but there was no way I was going to try to get a photo of what that box looked like.
