OK, so I think I have it mostly worked out.

I have 6 TS credits for my family (8 adults 3 kids) in the last week of January. The following are must do's:

O'Hanas
Le Cellier
Hoop De Doo

That leaves 2 TS credits and one meal OOP.

What would you do?:thumbsup2

What about Mama Melrose. The Nine Dragons in China is excellent too. It will reopen from its renovation at the end of November.

If there are little princesses in the party then I have to say Akershus is the place over there in EPCOT (Norway).

Askerhaus! That would be a great character breakfast I think. There are 2 princesses, 6 and 2. Well, and me, MIL, SIL. How expensive is it? Maybe a breakfast we can let the boys sleep in and the girls go out?

We are bringing our litte 'prince" to this also! Lets hear it for the boys out there!!! :lmao:

Akershus is a great character meal and with five princesses and the photo package included, it is great value for 1TS on the DDP. Check out pricing on allears.net if you want to try to decide what meal to pay OOP. Doing breakfast there would be a less expensive option. We went for dinner in June and DD6 just loved it!! :thumbsup2

(Photo below is from the package you get.)

Here are some places to consider:

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (we like breakfast buffet there)

1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian (we have tried and liked both breakfast and dinner buffets in the past - they have characters at both meals)

Sci Fi at Disney Hollywood Studios for TS lunch (kids would get a kick out of sitting in cars at the drive in)

Teppan Edo for TS dinner or lunch at Epcot in Japan (my DH and I did this and loved it - we want to take our kids now; kids get dinner in monorail containers (cheap souvenir!) )

If close to Wilderness Lodge, you could try Whispering Canyon - the skillets are great!

Coral Reef for lunch or dinner in Epcot - neat to see the aquarium while you eat

I would actually plan on CS rather than pay OOP for another TS meal. With the group you have you will likely have CS credits left due to sharing.

If you must do an OOP, make it Boma breakfast. If you do Boma dinner use credits and pay OOP for CM's breakfast. If these are all dinners then Boma is probably still the best pay OOP. Coral Reef rings up expensive, so definitely use DP credits there. We had lunch there and found it wonderful, but not cheap (we were happily on the DP).

I love to eat our TS meals at Epcot--it's like traveling to a whole other country!!! Nine Dragons is wonderful!!!I am so happy they will be open for our Jan. trip. Hopefully the menu didn't change too much!!
Also,we like the Biergarten in Germany-kids love it!! You can get up and dance while the band plays--its a buffet and the desserts are unbelievable!!! Also, we loooove the Garden Grill in the Land ---rotating restaraunt with characters. For MK, Crystal Palace is good, 1900 Park Fair is another good buffet with characters.(it's at the grand floridian). We also like Tony's on Main street--decor is Lady & the Tramp--you'll get mixed reviews on the food, but ours has always been good.
