We only have 3 park days and only 1 of those days is a park hopper. Is the better combo, HS/AK or HS/Epcot for the most rides in a day? Also will MK be a better choice for when there is no Boo Bash or doesn't it matter? We are staying at BeachClub if transportation is a factor and will be there Sun-Tues in Sept. I was thinking that since Epcot and HS are right close that would be a better option but I really am unfamiliar with the newer rides and wait times. Thanks!

I would do HS/Epcot because Epcot is open much later and you’ll have more time to do rides since you can’t hop until 2.

Ok..thank you! That is where I was leaning. Do you think MK is ok for a Sunday with a Boo Bash at night? (Part of me thinks MK should be the park hopper day..it is a long day rope drop to fireworks)

I've been out of the loop for a while now. I thought you had to buy either all hoppers or all base tickets? I didn't know you could choose just 1 day of hoppers?

I had an old non expiring 1 day park hopper left from 2008 and then I just purchased 2 day base tickets and are added to MDE...I hope it works! I was a little worried because I wasn't sure how Disney knew which ticket to use on a certain day.

Ohhh, ok! I've actually done that before! I would suggest using the hopper day first. You may end up at guest services either way, though

Not "may". Absolutely should go in advance. The only way to be sure you won't be at guest services for a much more complicated situation after you enter is to go to them before when you know how you're going to use the tickets so they can prioritize them correctly.

A common thought is that AK is a half day park.

EPCOT is often late closing. If you can handle a long day, I’d recommend that with only one hopping day.

Take the bus resort to AK and back to resort. Play in the pool - then walk to EPCOT.

My thought I’d always, what are you going to do in each park? Mainly based on rides or food until shows return. Or fireworks.
I think this is a great option if you’re planning on hitting AK. AK is a half day park for us and we usually go back to the hotel and swim before hitting Epcot for the evening. If AK isn’t on your list, then HS would be my next choice. I don’t think you’ll have any problem with MK on a Sunday and a Boo Bash night.
