I ordered some TC from this company( first time i've ordered currency online) and they said that they would be with me on 4 may by 1pm nothing arrived, i phoned them and they said that they would get onto royal mail with the tracking number and asked me to phone them back which i did but all i got was there is a problem with the mail at their end and that royal mail hadn't got back to them yet. So i am waiting to see if they come today and if not i'll have to phone them again to see what is happening.
Will post later to let you all know what is happening.
 
Yes do keep us posted, will be interesting to see how they handle the situation, do they realise there are approx. 200,000 customers to be influenced here ;) Good luck,

I've ordered from them with no problem before, hopefully thers a plausible explanation. good luck
 
Well i decided to phone them and got through to Barney who was very helpful anyway it turns out that Royal Mail have either lost them or they are still in the sorting office so he said he will phone me back.
Just got a phone call and apparently Royal Mail have decided to completely ignore the fact that they were sent by Special Delivery and have now sent them via the regular postman, we,ve already had the post today so i now have to wait until tomorrow if nothing arrives tomorrow then i will have to phone them on monday for either a full refund or fot onlinefx to send some more.

oh well, at least you got an explanation, albeit a rather useless one. hopefully you'll get it tomorrow. and at least you know its not onlinefxs fault so you needn't be worried about ordering from then in the future.
 
Sorry to be negative but as a very trustworthy postmans wife I get angry at companies blaming the Royal Mail all the time, it's easy to blame a big organisation, there's not one person to hold accountable unless there's a bad apple in there somewhere. Having finished my moan I really hope you soon get your cash. Best wishes.
 
I have also had this problem. I ordered on wednesday and didn't get the pckage as promised. I spoke to a very helpful chap called Nameer yesterday who told me that Royal Mail had sent the packages out via the regular mail route by mistake and so delivery wouldn't be until Saturday. As soon as I told him that I was leaving early saturday morning he said he would send me a replacement out and I received that this morning. Hurrah, now I'm ready for my hols and I'll be using OnlineFX again, definitely.
 
I had a phone call yesterday from a chap called Barney and he said that he would send out another package and it should arrive today but possibly monday and that i should refuse delivery if a 2nd package turns up so fingers crossed.
 
I've always used OnLineFX for all my $$$ and 90% of deliveries arrived next day special delivery. There has been the odd time when it's taken 2 days.
 
I have been using onlinefx since 2001, I never had problems with my currency orders or money transfers. This is the first time that I have my currency order delayed. I spoke yesterday to the manager at Paddington sorting office and he was aware of the problem, apparently the packages were dispatched from the regular post section and not the special delivery section by mistake, that’s what he said anyway.
 
We use OnlineFx & have never had a problem, sounds like a batch has gone out wrong but at least it seems they have tried to sort it out

I had a phone call fri afternoon from a man named Barney and he said that he would send out a 2nd package and that it should arrive sat or possibly mon, if the 1st package does arrive then i have to refuse delivery and it should go back to onlinefx, good job i was up as at 8am on sat morn the postman was knocking on the door with my $$$$.
Onlinefx did come through and their customer service was helpful in trying to sort out the problem.
 
You should be reporting OnlineFX to BT for harassing you....looks like they have added you to their "friends and family" numbers ! :rotfl2:
