Online room reservations for 2013?

Does anyone know when one would be able to make an online room reservation at WDW for 2013?

Also how far in advance can a room be reserved via telephone call to WDW reservations?

Typically, you can do online reservations for the next year in August. I believe room only reservations can be done (by phone, of course), 499 days in advance.

The pp is correct that a room only reservation can be made 499 days out by calling. You will be quoted the highest rate for 2012, which will be adjusted once the new rates are released. A deposit equal to 1 night's room rate + tax would be required, with the balance due at check in. If you want to book online (or book a package), you have to wait until the 2013 rates come out. New rates usually come out in August, but the 2012 rates were released in early June 2011.
