online reservations

has anyone done the new online resort reservations yet. can you make room requests during the process. i know when you use online check-in 10 days out you can make requests but the request options you have are very limited.

if you still have to call to make specific requests on your reservation it kind of defeats the purpose of having the convenience of online reservations.

I made reservations online this week. It worked great. I was able to secure a THV for NYE! Made RES right at 11 months/8:00 am EST. By 11:00 am there was a day that is no longer available.

You do not have the ability to add specific room requests. You have to call MS to do this. I wish that I could have done it to get the text of the request just right.

As with all IT systems, changes will come. Hopefully they will include this functionality in the future.

I haven't used it to book anything, yet, but I sure have used it to check availability, and it is nice to be able to do so when MS is closed. I don't mind calling to make a request, getting the accommodations secured is more important to me. I am sure there will be enhancements to the on-line booking as time goes by, but I am glad to have what they have given us so far.
