Online reservation with banked points?

Do I have to bank points separately before seeing them available to use in a reservation for the following use year? When I go to make the reservation the only points the online system shows are my next UY's points, and not the ones from my current UY (that I haven't banked forward yet).

Also, I can't remember before I get into it - can I make a reservation for another person online ( different lead adult than myself) or do I have todothat through MS?

Yes points need to be banked prior to using them for a reservation.

You need to bank first. You can do it online, I can't seem to find it because I don't have any to bank.

Yes, you can make reservations for someone else online, I booked a night with holding points for a friend last Tuesday. When you get to the screen with the name and address, type in their information.
