Online dining reservation system = useless!

I know that there have been problems with the system lately and it wouldn't allow you to link your resort ressie to dining to book at 180 + 10 but I had so hoped it would have been fixed by 6am today! But NO, so at 7am I was on the phone and by 7:17am I had 8 ADR's made at the exact time or within 15 minutes of my desired time except for 'Ohana and it was only 50 minutes later than I wanted and later was better than earlier in my case! The CM was very nice, and all the ADR's showed up online within a matter of minutes! :banana:
 
Is this what you got when you tried to do ADR's online: The dates on your Resort reservation do not qualify you for extended booking dates. Please try another date or call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.?
 
It says that for me this morining. That it is unable to link my reservation even though my room is under my reservations already. :sad2:

I got the same message this morning. I was able to make an ADR for our arrival night but that's it so far. It's so frustrating!

That's as far as I can get too! Very frustrating! Good luck with the rest of your ADR's!
 
I just can't shake the feeling that I'm getting the short end of the stick here. Do you guys have the dining plan? I'm starting to suspect that if you don't, the on-line system won't work for you. This is the message I'm getting -- note the first sentence mentions the dining plan:

"Please continue to search and book available dining locations online without associating your dining plan. We were unable to link your Resort reservation to dining reservations."

No, I didn't book the dining plan yet. I was waiting until closer to the trip. That is a very good point.

We have the DxDP and are getting the same message. The system just isn't linking things properly.
 
I kept getting that message too.

1st - it wouldn't associate my confirmation #/reservation #. Duh. I had the numbers transposed. So that was my fault. :rolleyes1 Tried again...

2nd - Then the message about continue to book....so, I waited about 6:01am and tried again. Then it worked!!!! :yay:

So, I was able to book all the ADRs we wanted. I am so excited. Especially, ADR at CRT for my daughter's 5th birthday. That was very important to me. I had the phone # ready for Disney's Dining Reservations in case I needed it.

I have DDP and couldn't book online at my 180+10 either.
 
O.K., I'll forget about that -- looks like some of us are getting left out in the cold indiscriminately!

Anyway, I called at 7:00 and got everything I wanted, so it's all good. I just wish the system worked the way it should from the get go.

I just ended up calling at 7 and had everything booked and done by 7:25. Not too shabby. My CRT ressie is a little earlier than I wanted (4:25) but I have always wanted to eat there (beings that I am a princess :rolleyes1) so I took it!
 
Are any of you using a DVC confirmation number? There is a known issue that the online dining system won't accept DVC confirmation numbers.
 
I had the same problem this morning and I almost had a heart attack!!!! Thankfully I called right at 7 and was able to make all of the ADRs that I wanted :goodvibes

Hope everyone else had as much luck with calling as i did after the online reservation system set up a big plate of FAIL.
 
I was able to make all of our reservations as well by phone. Thankfully, I was able to secure CRT! There was only one time left for the day that we wanted.:woohoo:

Missyrose- I have never had a problem using a DVC confirmation number before and we always stay DVC.

Hope they get this issue resolved quickly!
 
Never had any problems with the ADR system, it has always worked fine for us.
 
Online didn't work for me this morning either. Still isn't working now! :( I had high hopes...

Oh, well. Called in at 7am and got the ADRs I needed for the first half of my split stay. Now comes the wait for ADRs part 2! (180 day for resort two is on Saturday.)
 
It's the DVC Confirmation # that's the problem. I've got that problem right now and am currently waiting to speak to somebody on the phone to do an ADR. :)
