I'm new to online dating (match.com and personals.yahoo.com) and wanted to know how anyone else that uses this type of service handles winks, icebreakers or actual messages that you get from someone that's interested in you.

How do you handle these self-introductions?

If it's someone I'm interested in, I respond. Otherwise, I usually don't. I've gotten to the point where a polite "no thank you" isn't worth it, because it tends to kick off "but whyyyyyyyyyyy?" stupidity.
