I'm now at 8 days and counting (woop woop :D), I've not had any email from Disney re online checkin... I know it's not a big deal, we've managed every other time with no online checkin , but it's exciting, so would like to do it if we can... so my questions are... will I get an email??, is there a separate link?? or is it done thru "Manage My Booking"???, I've checked that 3 or 4 times a day (:) ) and no extra link as yet.

And "hi" to anyone else on the 1pm Virgin flight from Gatwick to Orlando on the 2nd of Nov :) .

I go in 5 days time and have not had an email and I am booked with Disney. But I am personally not bothered to check in online.

Have a good holiday:thumbsup2

I've never had an e-mail about online check in when i've booked with Disney direct.

Glad it's not just me :). It was a work Colleague had said they got an email about online checkin... may he booked with Disney.com and not Disney.co.uk :confused3:, Anyway, it's all good.... only 5 working days to go :woohoo:

And you too jylover... have a great time :)

Hi Scott

You don't get an email or any link. You can TRY donig it the way it USED to work, which is either through www.mydisneyreservation.com or through the US Disney site. I tried to do this last month, with my US reservation number (12 digit format, which you will need) and eventually phoned the number that popped up on the screen only to be told that currently UK guests are unable to do online resort check in. Now this may not be correct and up to date information so if you do succeed or get any different information, please post for us to keep us up to speed.

Lucky you - OLCI means counting the days :cool1:

Thanks 2Tiggies, Will do :).

You know what it's like you just get that excited, any wee thing you can do to make it seem the trip is coming faster.

Looking forward to this one.... Christmas nights, Food and Wine, kids staying at home (at Uni) and we've got friends that moved from NJ that now work in Disney so planning a good few days with them.... happy Days :)

Sounds fab. You're making me sit reminiscing about our recent trip, which consisted of similar: Halloween Party nights, Food and Wine, my Kiddo is my Travel Partner, and also met with friends from NJ there. Lol, sounds like we planned this off a template :lmao:

I would love to do the Christmas party some day. It would be great to get a review when you come home again. But don't think about coming home yet - you still have your whole trip to enjoy. I leave the coming home thoughts for 2 weeks after we get home (I can survive the first two in a mix of jetlag and denial :rotfl2:)

So exciting. I want to go too now! :)

lol Funny how Disney can bring folk from so far apart together, Thru another Disney forum I’ve got to meet a lot of good folk, this is the 3rd time we’ve got to meet these guys, looking forward to that as much as the trip itself :)

I work in Port Dundas in Glasgow, so can see the planes coming and going from the Airport… every Wednesday I would keep an eye out for my Gatwick flight taking off and count the weeks till it was me :)

And as for denial… I hear that lol.
