online check-in

Has anyone ever had problems doing this? For the past few trips I have tried every time to do online check-in without success. I could complete the check-in, but have always canceled because when I try to enter a room request I cannot. The text box will pop up, but I cannot type in it. So I give up, not a real big deal because I really do not mind checking in when we get there. I just want to get my request in. We are arriving at HHI in 8 days, should I call the resort to put in my request or call MS? The only request I have is a marsh view, I really do not care which building as long as it is marsh view. Would you just simply request marsh view or would I have better luck requesting a specific building?

You have to call for a room request. You cannot enter those type of room requests on the online check in form. You can call (MS not the resort) in your requests at any time, I do it when booking the reservation. Then you can do online check in when it is time.

Doing on-line check-in does not adversely affect any prior requests that you have already provided to MS. Those will still be considered in determining room if you do on-line check-in

I did online check in at AKV and it did not affect my requests that I had called in earlier...all room requests were granted
