online check-in for August 17?

Hi.. we aren't arriving until August 17th but I see in reservation that I can go ahead with online check-in. I've never used this feature before... should I wait until closer to my arrival date or go ahead now?

Back in March we did on line check in as soon as it was available for the trip. Piece of cake, got to the Guard House, went right through to check in, she handed us our packet, told us how to get to our site and away we went. VERY SMOOTH AND EASY !!!! Have a GREAT time !!!!!

I'm actually surprised that Running_Bell can see this on the Disney website so soon.

Back in April 2013 I got an email 10 days before arrival to do early check-in.

I would probably wait till the week of the trip to do it even if given an early opportunity. I guess they want you mostly to commit the unpaid balance due (if any) to the credit card so they can realize that revenue early rather than wait till checkin day.

Don't wait to close to arrival date. I did and our packet wasn't ready and I check in was the usual amount of time.

Wish they would open the lane closest to the building for on line check in to speed things along.

It couldn't be our balance because it was already paid in full.... I have been able to see it for a while, but ignored it. So I did go ahead yesterday and go through the online check-in process, select my loop preference and any other requests I had... very easy so far.
