Online check-in? Can't access after a certain point?

We did the online check-in about a week ago to put in our two room preferences. We are now exactly 20 days to our arrival on property. We were discussing it over the weekend and I had gone into the My Plans to adjust one of our preferences. Now where the 'start check-in' was it says
We cannot display your Direct-to-Room details right now.
Please check back later.

It's said that for at least three days now.

I'm wondering if this is normal? After you've entered your preferences it's locked? Or after you pass a certain number of days you can no longer access your online check-in details?

Has anyone seen or dealt with this before?

It's not important enough that we intend to call (long-distance fees). We're just curious how this works. Or if it's normal/expected.
 
Maybe try a different browser? I just checked into CR last Friday and was able to see my online check-in info the day before we checked in.
 
Have you tried the app? I'm getting the same message in the last few days but found I have no problem accessing everything on the app.
Also, on the website, scroll down and see if you can get to it from your itinerary, (I just tried and can access for my December stay.) You won't see some of the newer options you can see on the app upgrade (i.e. housekeeping option), but I was able to update arrival time, room location preferences, etc.
