Online check in at campground

I thought so. We still had to wait in the line up, but once we got to the booth it was really quick. Also, it was so busy that there were two CM's directing campers to a lane to queue up in for check-in, and I told them that I had done online check in. Not sure if that made a difference where they directed us to, but she mentioned into her headset that we had done online check in. :confused3

So, I don't think it hurt, that's for sure. It would have been nice to have zipped through an online-only lane, of course, but we appreciated the quickness once we got up there.

We do it, but I don't know if it helps. Last June we still waited in line for 40 minutes and then after we were assigned our site....another camper was already parked on it.....so we had to go back and get another site assignment:confused3. We just try and go with the flow.:goodvibes

We do online check-in also. It would certainly help if one lane was online check-in only. When we first did online the booth closest to the building had a sandwich board sign directing us there. Don't know what happened but haven't seen it again.

I too always do on-line checkin. It can't hurt. Last year we saw the sandwich sign articfox mentioned and that lane moved pretty quickly. This year's trip there was no sign but nevertheless I think it doesn't hurt.

We'll be there in 5 days ....

What is the advantage of the online check-in? Is it something we should do before leaving home, or on the day before we arrive? (it's a 3 day dive for us with the trailer).

Thanks for the wealth of information on here!

Steve

We've done it both ways and really can't tell that much of a difference. You still must wait in the same line. Sure it's a little faster once you get to the CM, but (call me crazy) I've always enjoyed that aspect of checking in :).

Now, if everybody would use online check-in and make the line move faster then... :goodvibes
