Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

I logged in with my user name and password and then went up to the little suitcase and clicked on retrieve dining reservations. Then when I put in one of my confirmation number, I get that message. Do I need to try another way?

That's the way I did it! I was having trouble at first as I was using my home phone #-not the cell # as they asked what # to reach you at WDW when I was booking the ADR.

If your sure you didn't use a different # when you booked the ADR, I have no idea why it isn't working. You are using the ADR # not your room/pkg confirmation #, right.

That's right. At first, I was putting in my package confirmation number and it didn't work. Then, when I figured out exactly what I was supposed to be doing, I started putting in an ADR confirmation number and it still doesn't work. I guess I'll call Disney Dining in the morning to make sure everything's okay.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I can pull up my ressie with my confirmation # and phone #. However, when I try to go to ressies, I can't get it to pull up 90 + 10.

What am I doing wrong?

OK, so I was doing a test run for online reservations. Searched for HDD with the wheelchair accessibility box checked and it told me nothing was available for all 3 shows. When I unchecked it for the same dates, there was available seating for all Categories for 5 and 9:30 and Cat 1 for 7:15. What gives? Should I plan to book HDD by phone?

TIA!

If you are on the DP than you can only book Tier 2 or 3 for the early shows.

I would call if you are on the DP and see. They do have some Tier 2 on the floor.

I see you're not at your 90 window. You can plug in your ressie info all you like, but all you're going to see is 90 days from THAT day! You need to wait until it's your 90 day window before the +10 pops up for you. Not too much longer to wait, what....like a wk or so? Good luck when your turn rolls around!

Neither # works? Crap. I did the same thing as you in the beginning...putting in my home phone # I booked my trip with, but then realized they wanted my cell phone # I used when making my dinner ressie bec they specify they want a # for when your in the world. But after I realized that, all the info popped up. Hopefully the quirk is gone and you can pull them up today!

I'm so excited to see my countdown ticker continuing down into the 80s!!!

The online ADR FAQ happily says that as of July 1, the glitch has been fixed that prevented those of us who made resort ressies through a travel agent from using the online system. It doesn't say how or what to do to get around it.

I can't get to my ressie online - the system doesn't recognize the conf# with either my phone # or my TA's phone #. When I called the help line Disney lists, I was told that my ressie would have to be "reset" and that I could only request that through email. That was over a week ago and I haven't gotten a response to my email. Losing my mind!

Has anyone gotten around this problem? Or does anyone know what the mods mean by "that glitch has been fixed!" I've tried to ask this on the official thread, but it moves so fast and is so full of everyone's ressies that my ? gets lost.

TIA for any insight!

I booked through a TA and saw the update a few days ago. I was able to retrieve my reservation without any problems. Call your TA and make sure the correct phone number is attached to your ressie.

Actually, they have changed that. You can book Tier 1 on the DDP, but only the 9:30 p.m. seating. I have already booked us for our arrival date.

Nevermind - after reading your post again, Squirrel, I see that you said "the early shows." Sorry!

People have used the TA phone # and that has worked for them! Could the TA have another # that it was booked with?

I totally forgot about putting in my cell phone number as I was making my ADRS! Even after reading some other posts about this exact thing, I kept recalling putting in my home telephone number for my resort reservation. I tried pulling up one of my ADRS with my cell phone number and it worked.:thumbsup2

Yes, you can be logged on and refresh until the new dates pop up.

The system checks for one hour on either side of the time you put in. Although I have seen instances where the system goes outside the 1 hour window. It is pretty weird though, cause you can put in 12:30 and it will show something available at 12:25, but not something at 12:40. So if you want something after 12:30.. you have to put in 12:45.

Thanks for your reply, I'm still a little confused about the time searching though.
If it searches an hour either side of what you put in, why would 12.30 not bring up 12.40?

hope this is of some use Dave

thanks, dave, but on the US website it won't allow me to enter the dashes, and instructions say "without any spaces, dashes, etc"

PrincessBelle let me know when you are ready to book.

I will have to call the cancellation in as it is an ADR with a CC hold.

I know I can call at 90 days, but has anyone figured out when the online part kicks in? I mean, midnight of day 90 or 7:00am of day 90?

I'm a night person, so if they switch it on at night...I will be very happy. If not, I have to get up real early. :sad2:

The online booking for ADR's starts an hour before the phone line opens(6am eastern I believe). We are going to the world Oct3-11 and our 90 day was July 5th, we tried to do the online reservations at 5am central time but it would only let us make resies for Oct 3 only. It wouldnt allow us to make ADR's for any days past that. So we ended up making them by phone.
