Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Yeah that does stink. I love my TA she has been great. I am going just going to let her do my dining then. I trust her but wanted to do it. I would rather get what I want and I will get an email confirmation she said so.
They should update this thread the 1st page says you can 90 plus 10 even if booked with a TA and you cant.[/QUOTE


There are still glitches but many that have booked with a TA have been able to book with 90 +10 online. They were able to get a phone # through their TA that worked with the Ressie # they were given by the TA.

I booked threw Disney and the site reconizes my Ressie # but on the morning of my 90 day window the calendar would not open up the +10 till the next morning.

The day I locked out of my +10 I ended up calling tech internet support and was on the phone with a lady for about 30 min. The first thing she asked me was if I booked through a TA, of course I had not. She went on a screen like what I see and she was also able to pull up my info, the calendar just would not open up. She said that glitches like this is like solving a puzzle and they had to find the common thing with those that won't open up before they can fix it. She asked me a ton of questions and passed my info on to IT dept.

It is very confusing and aggravating and just proves we all need a little pixie dust :wizard: sometimes when it comes to all things Disney.
 
I noticed that when I booked some ADR's this afternoon/evening that I received an automatic e-mail confirmation with the ADR #.
 
Help! I have 2 breakfasts at Princess Storybook on the same day. I want to cancel the earlier one but I can't! It won't let me cancel either of them ~ I'm able to cancel my other 10 ADR's but not these 2???

*I see about the CC hold problem ~ I called in this morning and got it taken care of.

Sooo, when it turns to 6am (or 11am here in the UK) and the new dining day rolls over, can you?:

- be logged in prior to this time, and have your resort ressie in, pick your first restaurant and then just refresh the page where the date and time choices are until the new date pops up?

- book a large group as 2 seperate tables? Will the system let me have 2 tables booked for the same time at the same restaurant?

- also, does anyone have any tips as to what timescales to try if your first choice is unavailable? I.e. if 5pm is full, does the system only search say 15 mins either side, so you should next try 5.30pm, or do you need to try every increment?

You have to call to cancel things with a credit card hold.
 
Anyone having problems getting their + 10 to show up today?

wdwmaw- I know you had problems, was it on your check out day that it didn't show up?

No, it was my check in day and I am having no problems getting the +10 to work today.
 
It's no fun getting locked out when you want to book. I guess I'm staying up for a while til the phone lines open.

I even checked my neighbours conf # to see if theirs was working-nope. No problems since I started on Fri.

I called and got my Chef Mickey's breakfast for our check out day.

Are you all done booking now? Did you end up w/ everything you wanted? I'm happy w/ all my choices.....I check CM for an earlier dinner this morning for Mon Oct 5th, but looks like we're stuck w/ 6:50. Think we'll miss Spectro at 8?
 
OK Now I am really ticked off...I have just called 5 different Disney numbers (each wonderful CM just passed me on to the next). I had my reservation number verified (it is exactly what I have been entering). Most people told me that if you booked through a travel agent, you cannot link to your reservation online. The last guy said no one who books through a TA can retrieve their reservation and I said I know that others have and he said people you know and I explained that it was my online DISers and he said it isn't true...:mad::mad:

I AM SO MAD!! Stupid Disney..so according to the wonderful folks who didn't help me worth a flip, none of you who have booked through CAA/AA/TA can retrieve your reservation and neither can I. Great customer service. I bet they could get it right if I was spending $$$$...I will get over it and just call...this is just so frustrating.

FYI - I booked through AAA and I used the 8 digit conf # and the phone number of the AAA office and it worked. Not sure if you tried that or not. I'd never have guessed to use their phone # but that is what my agent suggested I do.

My Ta was able to book all my ADR's on my 90th day on the TA online dining website. This was before online became available to the general public. She didn't have any problems pulling up my 90+10 on her end. I had an email from her by 6:20am with all my requests.

You may want to ask your TA if they will book the ADR's for you.

Yes, when I retrieved my ressie all the info was there, my resort and check in /out days listed. This is why I did not think I would have a problem. Sun 7/5 when I went to book the +10 did not open up but on Mon 7/6 it did. I did call at 7am and the CM was able to book all my ressies no problem.

I wish you luck and hope you get the ADR's you want
 
Another question...I apologize if this is a repeat, but it is hard to get through all these pages...

I know that you can make a request for a date range, but I don't think there is a way to request a time range (for example, if you just want to see what times are available for a certain restaurant on a certain day). Is this possible?

Yes, you can be logged on and refresh until the new dates pop up.

The system checks for one hour on either side of the time you put in. Although I have seen instances where the system goes outside the 1 hour window. It is pretty weird though, cause you can put in 12:30 and it will show something available at 12:25, but not something at 12:40. So if you want something after 12:30.. you have to put in 12:45.
 
Hello everyone

I am sorry if this is a repeat question, I waded through some of the pages of the ADR thread and got lost. I will have to go back and see where I dropped my marbles...LOL.

I saw on the thread that if you plug in your confirmation number and phone number that you can see your ressies. I did and can see my resort and ticket ressies but cannot find where I can see my ADRs.

Can anyone help?

I know this has probably already been asked, but ...I have already passed the 90 day mark and made all of my reservations and they are associated with my reosrt reservation. Now, we are considering canceling at our resort and rebooking elsewhere. Will my ADRs cancel along with the reservation?
