Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

sorry you guys are having problems...I totally expected to have issues as well but I was pleasantly surpised. I had no problems pulling up my 90+10 this morning. I even got LeCellier which I was totally expecting to be gone for our Epcot day

I am also peeved. The site will not recognize my confirmation number, and our first day we want the fantasmic package. Now I have an hour to come up with new curse-free adjectives to use on the survey on the site....

The Fantasmic dinnner packages are not available to book online you have to call in for them.

The system recognizes my resort reservation but it is not unlocking the 90+10.

Any ideas?

We got lucky and got a Le Cellier for Sept. 25th as soon as the website changed dates. I couldn't believe it. However, we can't book any dates past that since the system still doesn't recognize DVC confirmation numbers.

Did you book directly through Disney, or through a travel agent. Just curious if it is working for some that used TAs or not.

I can start booking my ADR's on 7/2. Of course like any good Disney addict I have been playing w/ the online reservations trying to get the feel for it.
Here's what I'm wondering it says there is a link for special requests ie. Birthdays, celebrations. When I click on it there is only a request for a high chair. Do I need to call in a request for a birthday celebration?

Also what about prepay ADR's. I was playing w/ CRT and it says I have to prepay it. I am on the DXDDP and would only need to leave a cc to secure it. Has anyone done this or do I need to call this in as well? TIA.

After you check out of your ADR's there will be a link under each restaurant where you can add a celebration. That is why you aren't seeing it while playing around.

When your 90 days comes up and you can bring up your resort reservation to associate with the dining it will see you are on the dining plan and will not charge you it will just ask for a credit card guarantee. You are seeing the charge now because the system isn't seeing that you are on the dining plan since you didn't bring up your resort reservation

I just made my reservations this morning. On the confirmation page where you can view all your dining reservations, you can click a button on each reservation to add a celebration. YOu can select what type of celebration (birthday anniversary etc)and givethe details (birthday, how old, the name of the birthday person etc) Is this what you are looking for? It doesn't give you a place to order a cake or whatever.

I logged in at 6:01am and managed to get all the ADR's I have planned for:

9/25 - Arrival Day
9/26 - Raglan Rd, 7:30pm
9/27 - Kona Cafe, 10:15am (late B'fast)
9/27 - Boma, 7:25pm
9/28 - 50's Prime Time Cafe, 11:55am
9/28 - Teppan Edo, 7:40pm
9/29 - Liberty Tree tavern, 5:00pm
9/30 - Rose & Crown, 7:45pm
10/01 - Biergarten, 12noon
10/01 - Le Cellier, 7:55pm
10/02 - No ADR's planned - Water Park or Shopping
10/03 - Tusker House, 3:05pm (late lunch)

All for a party of 2

Wondering if it doesn't unlock the +10days if you log in too early (I made sure I logged in at 6:01am)

Also something strange happened, It brought up my work phone number on the confirmation page, but I just changed it to my home number and it went through fine

I just used the on-line ressie system for my ADRs this morning. I'd played around a little yesterday to get the hang of the system and had noticed that my resort reservation was evidently not loading into a new page. I had success by logging in, attaching my resort reservation number, making an ADR, going to the next restaurant's ressie booking page, REFRESHING THE PAGE to get my resort ressie back and then making that ressie. Repeat. Why I would have to refresh the pages like that makes no sense at all. But it worked and allowed me to quickly move on through my wish list. I did pretty well getting most of what I wanted and only a few more than an hour off the time I initially entered.
I got:
Bfast at Chef Mickey's
Lunches at Crystal Palace and Hollywood and Vine (character meals)
Dinners at Whispering Canyon Cafe, Kona Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In and Rainforest Cafe.
All for a party of 3, which includes a 4 y/o.

This is my 4th trip in the last 5 years and I have *never* had this much trouble with ADR's.......

Sorry you had such bad luck!! I called right at 7am on the dot. I had to wait 4 minutes before a CM picked up. We got all the way through the list and then her system crashed. So, we had to go back and redo all of them. Looks like they are using the same bug filled system that we are. The CM was very nice and I actually felt bad for her.

yes! You can check your dining reservations on-line at the official disney website under the My Disney vacation heading up in the right corner. Click on my disney vacation and then Scroll down to dining reservations. You will need to enter your confirmation numbers and phone number.

I tried this yesterday using ADRs that I had previously booked via the phone. When I entered them, it came back with an error message. So, can you only check ADRs online that you made online? Thanks.

I was able to pull up ADR's that I had made on the phone, but it was a while later. Maybe it takes a few days?
