Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

I have my restaurants saved under my 'favorites'. I was able to access them there and pull up the page to make ADR for 50's Prime Time. Went all the way through to my 'cart'. I didn't try to check out. But OMG is it SLLLOOOOW.

I don't have to make my ADRs until friday morning - here's hoping they're done tinkering by then... :surfweb:
 
Oh man. I was just thinking 'cool, it has been running fairly well, I should have no trouble with it when I try to make my ADRs on Sunday.'

Please everyone, don't break it before I get my chance. I really am not looking forward to the cell phone charges I will have to incur if I have to call. (I will be in the middle of BF nowhere in Northern Ontario for a friends wedding)

It is showing that the site is down for maintenance when I try right now.
 
There is a message up now on the website saying they are undergoing maintenance and hope to be back shortly.
 
Ok Guys, my 90 mark is tomorrow!

I'll have to get up at 5am to get online at 6am to get my ADR's.

Is it worth it to wake up that early to try to get the system to work for me?

My ADR's are not too difficult, the only hard one is 'OHana dinner.

oh please I hope so.

need to make ADR sunday and wouldn't mind waking up at 6 if I could do it online! I booked through AAA and I normally like working with them but one hour may make a difference with free dining.

I can't find where you enter your confirmation number for the 90+10. Where is it on the dining page???? TIA!!!
 
Now that it's back up and running has anyone that is DVC or used a TA tried to book 90+10? Just curious if it's working for everyone yet.
 
I still can't get in with my regular CRO reservation. Still says it can't find it. I have talked to no less than 7 people with no luck. I am pretty sour on Disney right now.
 
Questions about on-line ADR's:

I will be booking my DS and DIL's ADR's for their honeymoon. I booked thru AAA. Got a pin e-mail for free dining and added it on.

1. To retrieve the reservation, it says I need the confirmation # and the telephone #. Which telephone # ? Mine, the AAA office # ? Do I have to retrieve the reservation to make the ADR's?

2. I need to log in to retrieve the list of ADR's. Should I use my DS's log-in or mine?

3. If I decide to call in the ADR's instead, can I retrieve the list of ADR confirmation numbers on line?

4. Do I get a list of confirmation numbers, once I have finished booking on-line, that can be printed out?

We are going to try to make our ADR's online for 14 days of free dining! If I get Le Cellier and put it in my "cart" do I need to check out or is it considered "TAKEN"

I would hate to "get" 12 reservations and find I lost 6 of them while making others.

You can only do so many at once, maybe 10??? before you have to check out I believe. Regardless, I would make your top 3 or 4, then check out before moving on to do the ones in less demand.

If you have something in your card and then encounter problems with the system, try using your browser's back button to get back to the others and check out. I did this twice.

It felt SO good to get CRT at the time I wanted, then check out and get a confirmation number by around 6:05 eastern!

You need the room reservation number to book 90 + 10 - meaning 90 days from the first day of the room reservation, onsite guests can book restaurant reservations for up to 10 days after that.

Unfortunately the online system isn't currently recognizing the reservations if you booked through a travel agent. You may have to call on the phone if you want to be sure and book at 90 + 10.

If you are booking online exactly 90 days from the day of the restaurant reservation, or within 90 days, you don't need the reservation number at all.
 
I can't get the WDW web site up. It just loads the very top toolbar and the background. It was like that at work as well. Anyone else? :confused3
