Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Good Morning Everyone! Just finished with all ADR's except for Mama Melrose Fantasmic - just waiting until 6:00 to call that in. Here's hoping!

Sorry if this has been asked or covered before!

Any way to do online ADRs with a split stay? And if not, should I just do the first part of my stay online, and then the split stay part call in for.... which is the next question, can I do the split stay part which falls still under my 90+ 10 over the phone even?

You can only do the first portion of your split stay whether it's on-line or you call in. The system will only recognize the first reservation. Then when it is your 90 + 10 date for the second resort reservation comes up, you can book the rest. -- Even though all of your dates may be within the original 90 + 10 days. Hope that clears it up...

I'm a bit dissapointed. No Le Cellier at all for Sept 22nd or 23rd. I'll Keep trying but for now have Tutto Italia. My friend wanted one of Le Cellier Tutto or Biergarten. I got tutto but was thinking biergarten. What do you diser's think? Also cant do Raglan Road online?

I had no problems this morning with the system, it was able to retreive my ressies. The only thing I couldn't get was 'Ohana's on 9/23 the first time they had was 9, but with a toddler that will be too late!

I just looked for Teppan Edo and was able to find it for 2 people for 6:30PM.
ETA: I just tried for 4 people for 7:00PM and had success.

Good Morning friend! Thanks for checking. I checked again right after I saw your post and it STILL would not load the booking system for me. Seemed strange, so I did my super high tech method of fixing all computer problems: I shut the thing down. I did try just exiting out of the Disney DIning program first, but that didn't solve the problem. Thankfully, once I turned it back on and started over, it was able to bring up Teppan Edo and we got our table for 4 at 6:30.

I just thought it was strange that I could book Akershus, but then it would not bring it back up.....

Thanks again for checking though. You kept me going. I figured then it was ME and not the system......

For those of you trying to book CRT breakfast the past 2 days: Out of curiousity, I checked and DID find breakfast times loaded in for 9/30 today. Still nothing will come up for 9/28 or 9/29 though.....

I'm just really glad we got our birthday lunch on the 28th. I would imagine that with breakfast not loaded, lunch probably booked up even faster than expected............

Let's hope they get that fixed today. CRT is the centerpoint for many trips!

I am glad I was able to help... it did seem weird that Teppan Edo was unavailable at 90+10. Good to hear you got it!

It's weird about CRT. Idk what is going on but out of curiousity, I checked to 9/30 as well and too was able to pull up breakfast- 8:30AM.

I just feel so bad for those who didn't have flexibility on those mornings

Hi - Just used the online dining reservation system for the first time. Ran into a snag right away when "one" of the reservations in my cart could not be completed during checkout...of course it was Le Cellier. I did end up getting it at a later time then I asked for initially.

I was wondering if everyone else can see their dining reservations listed in the My Disney Vacation Dining Reservations page automatically without having to enter the confirmation/phone each time? I thought if I was logged in the info would always be there but it seems each time I have to log in I also have to enter the confirmation numbers again. Seems like that defeats the purpose of being logged in while making the ressies in the first place.

Also, I could not find a way to reserve the 90+10, only 90 days on the nose. I'm a DVC member and it did not ask me for my stay reservation number before I make the dining reservations. Does this have something to do with it?

I wasn't able to use the online system due to my DVC reservations but I called right when they opened, no wait, no hold and I got everything I wanted with the times I wanted including hard to obtain ressies like Chef Mickey and Le Cellier! I was in my 90+10 day window as we arrive on September 20th.

The CM was extremely helpful and knowledgable and booked all of the Epcot ressies first as they are more difficult to get.

I guess there is something to be said about using a real live person

Check the first post, it explains why you cannot do it if you booked through a TA.

I read that, but it isn't clear. It makes it sound like you can make a reservation for exactly 90 days out, but not for the ten days after you arrive like you can by phone. If the travel agent did use the correct phone number to book the reservation, I don't see what the problem is. If we have to book on the phone, that's okay. I can't log in everyday to book though because we leave on a cruise on Sunday.

Geez Louise, am I the only one who can't seem to pull up my 90+10? All I have is Sept 20th available to me right now! What am I doing wrong? Oh help, please!

Anastasia, when is your first day of your reservation? I know I had a 'not enough coffee' moment this morning, my first day of our ressie is 9/22, so I said 'ok, 6/22, I'm 90 days out', went to the site, and all I could get was 9/20 and nothing further, then it dawned on me, I'm actually 92 days out, LOL, so I can't book until Wednesday.

you are correct if you are going online you can only book up to 90 days from your arrival not the +10 if you are booked through a TA or DVC.

The reason is that when a TA resort reservation is being built there is nowhere to enter the guest phone number and since the online dining wants both the resort reservation and a phone number, well you see the problem.

Disney is aware of the problem and is working to try and get it fixed.

If you are booked through a TA your options are
1. Have your TA book your ADR's for you - their system is available at 6:01am
2. Call in at 7am to the dining line

It correctly showed my resort reservation, arriving 9/20 departing 9/30 at CSR. When I tried to select the date range, the latest date that would show is 9/20. I was not able to make any of the +10 reservations. I called in at 7:00am EDT and was able to get Le Cellier on 9/28 for dinner, but it was not available on 9/27. Ohana also a problem on 9/27, I took a 4:30p reservation.

When you choose the select date range under where you first choose the date it will only search for 5 days at a time that is why you couldn't see all your dates if you chose the first date as your arrival date.

If so, please retrieve your reservation. "
... just above the area you can enter your date and time?

Click on it to input your Disney room reservation. If you can put it in, it will say "Your 09/18/2009 - 10/02/2009 Disneys Pop Century Resort vacation has been retrieved and will be associated with any dining reservations you make for those dates. " Or mine did... I am sure your's has different dates and/or resort.

Then you should be able to see up through 9/30.

Oh my gosh, I am so dense. It was like that 4th grade lesson, where you need to read all the directions vefore you start the project or you'll inevitably blow it? I just kept scanning by the part you were talking about, over & over! Thanks so much, Dayna, for the much needed injection of common sense.

Wow- that was easy! We added a day to our August vacation, and I wanted to add a 6:00 dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I had tried calling and getting an ADR several weeks ago, but had no luck. I saw a thread today on the boards with the link to the online dining reservations and thought I would give it a try. It worked like a dream!

Within 5 minutes, I had a 5:50 ressie at Whispering Canyon for the date I wanted. How easy was that?

I also tried to get a Sci-Fi Drive-in ADR for later in the week- it was unavailable, but I love how they give you other options right then and there. That is so much easier than calling and waiting for the CM!

I know; it's great. For the past week, we've been filling in empty slots in our vacation by randomly browsing the site. We nabbed July ressies for Coral Reef and Le Cellier (LC for 8!)

I just sent my TA my dining requests since my ADRs can be made on Wednesday! I'm so anxious to find out if I'm going to be able to get Ohana dinner! I don't think I'll have problems with any of the other requests.
