Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Okay, seems to be a little confusion on here!

Can someone tell me if I have this correct:

1) At 6:01 AM - Go to ADR Website
2) Enter Phone Number and Reservation Number
3) Once P# and R# has been entered (I booked online) I should have the option of setting ADR's for 90 days + 10
4) Click on "Make Reservation Button" for each restaurant
5) Enter all info and submit.
6) If unavailable I will get additional options
7) Set and wait for e-mail notifications

Does this sound about right or am I missing anything?

Is there a faster way to do anything then what I mentioned above?

If you log in with your reservation number prior to 6:01am will the system automatically allow you to enter 90+10 dates after 6:01am? Or do you need to wait to log-in until 6:01am?

I haven't tried it as my TA made all of my ADR's but from what I gathered with the information that others have posted here
1. Go to the dining page
2. Choose your first restaurant
3. Click on "make a reservation"
4. Once the restaurant is up there will be an area in the top part above where you enter the date you want where it will ask to retrieve your reservation.
5. Enter your reservation number and phone number
Then it should let you book the 90+10

I would suggest you go in and just play around with it to get yourself familiar with the site before your 90 day mark.
 
i am so glad to see that i am not the only crazy one! its just too fun, and so true that if i had to CALL disney dining to this, i NEVER would.
i have checked changed almost every ADR to a 1/2 jour later, and am still trying to change the only 2 i havent yet to a 1/2 hour later. And I still have over 2 months as well....oh well, HAPPLY PLANNING (and REPLANNING:surfweb:) EVERYONE!!
 
I too have been fiddling around with our ADRs. Some I made by phone 90 days (+10) out and then once the online system was up I made all the rest. Now I'm just trying to get slightly better times, or maybe a different restaurant, or maybe a different park, or maybe............:surfweb:
 

This does pay off for us obsessive types. I got a dinner at CRT which seemed impossible to me!
 
Slight hijack question - so if I made ADR's by phone, I can still see/change them online now?? This may have opened up a new obsession for me, too! :lmao:
 
i reset my phone number on the phone and it still doesn't work. sigh I just get a new error message. HOW frustrating
 
You asked what wrong with you. It's Disney OCD! :lmao: A lot of of us on here are like that. It's all good fun.

yes, you have to use the pull down screen for "my vacation" and click on dining reservations. Then you use your confirmation # and the phone number tied to the ADR. Don't panic if it doesn't work, some people have had trouble, and I had to try different phone numbers to get it to work for me. They have a very old phone number on file for me that they can't seem to get corrected, now it has a transposed number in it! ( I figured it out by looking closely at my resort reservation and saw the erroneous numbers.):thumbsup2

BTW...don't do it!! You WILL become obsessed, I guarantee it!:rotfl:
 
Update: Just snagged a Le Cellier dinner I couldn't get for weeks! Loving the new system!
 
Ok I have a question. I am not positive what phone number is associated with my reservation. Can I check that previous to my 90 day mark? I don't want to be sitting on my computer at 5 am trying to figure it out. My day is next sunday. Should I call disney? Can I somehow check online?
 
Wow!! I LOVE this online system. I was able to snag a CP reservation for the time we wanted after a month of calling and getting nowhere. CP was completely booked that night. I'm so excited!:woohoo:

I started playing with the system the first day and got all my changes that I want and I want to keep playing more, but I have Le Cellier when I want it and 'Ohana when I want it and everything else when I wanted! So what can I do? :confused3

I'm feeling left out! :sad1:
 
Wow! I love this new system!:goodvibes I was able today to snag a CRT breakfast for our July trip! pixiedust::jumping1:princess: I am sooo excited! We are planning on doing the DDP though and I had to pay in full??? How does this work?:confused3
 
You can view your RESORT reservation online even if you used a TA. I can see mine and I used a TA but you cannot pull it up on disneyworld.com you have to go to www.mydisneyreservation.com/guest.

The disney reservation numbers with packages are 8 digits and start with either a 1, 3 or 8

I tried this with my res.#, with no luck. We are staying on points, and our # is 12 digits, starting with 398_. Of couse, being DVC, it doesn't work on their "retrieve your res" on web site. Has anyone been able to pull up a dvc res # on here?
 
So what I am hearing is that it is better than calling, right? I have to wait to August 14th to call for mine. Can you book CRT? What about BBB & the pirate thing? Did anyone get an answer for if people double & triple book --come on now, we know it happens... I just get so mad when I am so flexible for 10 days- I don't really care what days I get things but I would like certain restaurants at certain times. And about BBB can you chose DTD or MK?
