Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

I can retrieve my reservation but it won't let me do the 90 + 10 either

Well, it's good to know I'm not alone :thumbsup2 I was very excited to use this system. I did play around with it last night and once the kinks are worked out, it'll be cool.

So what I am hearing is that it is better than calling, right? I have to wait to August 14th to call for mine. Can you book CRT? What about BBB & the pirate thing? Did anyone get an answer for if people double & triple book --come on now, we know it happens... I just get so mad when I am so flexible for 10 days- I don't really care what days I get things but I would like certain restaurants at certain times. And about BBB can you chose DTD or MK?

You cannot book BBB, pirate cruise, afternoon tea and other "special events" on the online dining you have to call those in

Hopefully one of the resident TAs can give me a hand.

We have a vacation already planned through a TA. Now with the addition of the online reservation system, we are interested in using that because of convenience.

When we try to get in to pull up our reservations to do the 90+10, our reservation isn't found (looking through boards it looks like a common problem).

Is booking through the TA ADR site an option? Are we stuck using the phone to be able to access the +10 days?

Thanks in advance

Until the problem is fixed on disney's end your options are
1. wait until 7am and call in
2. have your TA make the ADR's for you they have access to the online dining under the travel agent side and it also is available at 6:01am

i was able to 90+10 today. although the system crashed 3 times during the checkout process and i had to start over. so i would have been done at 6:15 with 7 ADRs instead i'm just finishing up at 6:45.

Can someone post the link for the online reservation system? Where can the general public make ADRs online? :confused3

Go to disneyworld.com
go to dining either through the "Discover" tab on top or the "dining" link on the bottom of the page
Choose your first restaurant
Click on "make a reservation" on the left

After not being able to do the 90 + 10 I did call right at 7am, got right through, and got every reservation at the perfect time. Too bad I had to waste an hour trying to do it on line at 6am.

I called at 7:00AM, on hold for 30 minutes, took 5 minutes and I had everything that I wanted. :)

There is a link in the first post. You can find the Orange "Make Reservation" button by the restaurants name. :goodvibes

Did you use a travel agent, or are you on a DVC booking? Both are not able to do the +10 online as of right now.

Neither for us. We booked directly through Disney and can't get in. Several on another thread are reporting the same problem.

However, we called at 7 and got everything except Bluezoo.

^^^ THANKS! :worship: I just got one ressie I was missing. I made the other ressies over the phone with a CM who used the a la carte system. I'm a bit nervous because some people have posted they lost ressies that were made over the phone with CMs using the new system. Hopefully that won't happen to us.

Again, Thanks!

For those new to this thread and for those that don't want to look through the massive amount of posts.

Don't forget to LOOK ON PAGE 1 of this thread as Tricia has been keeping it updated with information on many of the questions that are being asked along with other important info. There is a LOT of information on that first page that may answer alot of the questions you are seeking.

This is one way to get your answer quickly instead of waiting for someone to answer.

For the person who asked about DDP and CRT ressies and paying the full amount: I don't think that's right. Others have reported having to enter their cc# to reserver, but it states that $0.00 will be charged to your cc#. So if it said the full amount, you might want to call and check into it.

The cc# should only be there for if you don't show up.

I was able to retrieve, email, and print the 1 reservation I made on line as well as the nine others I had to call for. It was nice because I could check them all and make sure they were correct.

You DO have to pay the full amount if you are not staying on property
I made the mistake of not inputing my resort reservation number (the space to do so is on the restaurant page) and when finalizing the ADR it wanted to charge me the full amount. I had to start from scratch with the resort number and then it used the credit card to simply hold the reservation.

You also have to make sure you have your resort reservation associated with the ADR if you don't there is no way for the system to know you are on the dining plan and therefore not charge your credit card but only use it as a guarantee.
