Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Strange. Just tried the system at 12:01 am and it took away 9/14 (which had been available all day) instead of adding 9/15. Wonder if they're backing up or downloading all the ADRs made for that day into a database? Will keep trying...

Okay, so I went to check out the online reservation system, and I successfully made a bonus ressie for dh and I to take a night out.

BUT, when I try to enter any of our reservation numbers made previously over the phone, it says my reservation can not be found.

I had just checked on my ressies a couple days ago on the phone, and they were there, but now this has me paranoid - could trying to bring them up on the new site have lost them??

Or, do you think it more likely they won't come up because they are for a party of 10 or more? The system wouldn't let me check for better times on any of the restaurants because of our party size, so maybe the Grand Gatherings are on a different system?

Now I have to get up in the morning and call Disney just to be sure!!

I do like the new system, though!!!

Well, I'm off to bed. Hopefully someone will brave the site at 3am. LOL I don't make my ADR's til 6/30 so I'm sure it'll all change by then anyway. Good luck all!!


OK...I'll go to bed after this. PP was right in trying diff times. Just for fun, I put in 9/13 Crystal Palace 7am...got no availability at all. Put in 7:15 and got 9am. So it could take a while to try a bunch...but at least we know it's worth it!

This is great! I made one new ADR, cancelled one I changed my mind about and was able to pull up all the ones I'd made by phone. Now as long as the system keeps working, we'll all be happy!

Hmmmm... Now it says the system is unavailable and to call or try again later...

As of 12:01 am on 6/17/09, the online ADR system removed 9/14 from availability (which had been available) all day on 6/16. It still had not added in 9/15.

As of 12:51 am on 6/17/09, the online ADR system went down completely. It was no longer accessible for the first time since it went active earlier on 6/16.

Sorry to be so formal about this, but I assume others will be keeping track of when 9/15 becomes available and when we can book throughout the night, i.e. 3:01 am or 6:01 am, etc. I'm going to sleep now, so I hand off the watch to the next loyal DISer.

At 1:40 am eastern time I checked it again and the system is back up but it still only allows ADR's until the 13th...

1:55 pm (EST) and Disney still has 09/13 listed as the date.

I saved all my favorite resturants (twice) and the screen told me I had no favorites picked.

I'll try to make it one more hour. I'll have to catch up on some Dis reading while I wait.

I am up and just playing at 3 ET and it let me make a ressie. I cancelled it of course since I don't get to make mine until July 4 but I thought I would let you know. It is very quick and easy! I like it!

I'm thinking 3am. I was just playing around and it would only let me go upto 13 September. Then at 3:03am, i went into Tusker House and it had 14 September available.

It's 3:18 (EST) and you can now book 09/14...but 09/15 date should have opened up. So I'm going to take a nap and check back at 6.

I just booked Le Cellier for 26th July on line -can't believe I got it, already have all others I want by phoning in April.

I finally finished booking everything online. I was able to pull up my old reservations I had made by phone, but I have one problem. The old reservations have a different phone # holding them. They are linked to my home phone #, and the new online ones are linked to my cell. Which means I can only pull up whichever set of reservations are directly linked to the last phone # I used with my reservations. Anyone have a clue how I can change the phone # that was given on my old reservations so that I can see all of them together?

Haven't played around with actual confirmed ADRs on the site since i can't make my ADRs yet so I'm thinking you might have to call and get them switched over? I accidentally gave them two numbers on my last trip so I feel your pain! It's a hassle!
