Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

My 90 day mark is tomorrow, :cool1: and so just now, before I searched for a "test" ADR to make, I pulled up my reservation to associate it with the ADR (which I could and I did... cancelled it right away, though.) So I'll be able to report tomorrow if the 90 + 10 is working. I'll be right here in 23 hours. :)

See you then!! :wave2: :goodvibes

Can you link me to those postings? Thanks:thumbsup2

I missed that and really don't know why anyone would have waited until after 7am this morning to book 90 days plus 10.

Here:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread....2205068&page=2

I think they'd already booked their ADR's, at 7 AM, but then went to try out the new system and could see the 90+10 dates in what was available to them.

In addition, posters "above" me had no issues with 90+10 this morning, provided their reservation number worked.

AFAIK, DVC ressie #'s are still not working. It looks like the roll over is 6 AM (not 3 AM, as it was for the TA's) so it's only an hour head start...but still.

My wife is waiting a call back from MS today...we'll see how that goes.

Booked all my ADR's this morning starting at 6am EST online. Got everything I wanted except T Rex, said no availability, but no biggie, we can go somewhere else. I was so pleased with how easy and quick it was, done by 6:25, confirmation email in my mailbox seconds later, all printed out and ready to go !!!! Very simple and I loved how it showed you other options for that timeframe, gives you ideas on different meals.
Castle-dinner
Crystal Palace-dinner
50' PTC- lunch
Epcot princess breakfast
Hoop Dee Doo
Chef Mickey breakfast
:thumbsup2:banana::yay::dance3::cheer2:

BUT, when I try to enter any of our reservation numbers made previously over the phone, it says my reservation can not be found. :confused3

Now I have to get up in the morning and call Disney just to be sure!!

Yes, I'm quoting myself. I thought you might find this interesting. I DID call Disney this morning. They list ALL of my previously made phone reservations. They do NOT have a record of the reservation I made last night on-line.

I'm guessing that it has to do with how the information is stored. My phone reservations are all tied to a resort reservation number, and also to a grand gathering number. When I reserved Raglan Road on-line last night, I was never asked for a reservation number. So when the CM's on the phone search for me, only the ADRs tied to my room reservation come up. Likewise, the computer can only bring up reservations that it could make - since you have to call to make reservations for parties of 10 and over, it can't see my ADRs.

But that's a guess. :confused3 Either way, Disney has a record of all my ADRs that I care about so whatever! :cool1:

Arrgh.. so I could only book online ADR for 15 Sept, it would not acknowledge my resort ress no matter how many variations of that and phone numbers I tried.

So at 7am eastern, I called and got right in to an agent.
May I say aargh again?
I only got 1 ressie and for a wk later than I wanted.... Ohana's on the 23 at 6:35pm party of one. Hoped for it on 16th same time.
There was no CRT breakfast avail at all for the 8days. She said I could try back at 90 day mark on 2nd ressie date

So, 20 mins later I'm off the phone.
But I called back and am in q hoping to try again (she was so painfully thorough on each date )

Oh! Speaking to "Dudd" He's checking full 10days for me! He took both my ressie numbers....:cheer2:

Anybody else getting a blank email confirmation with no information? Now that I finally have all my ADR's, phone and online, on one page I can't get it to send it to me correctly in email.

If you are staying offsite, how do they identify you? I logged in to the site and picked a fake time/TS and it gave me a couple available, but I didn't want to go any farther in the process or take a reservation from anyone (since I'm not going until October! LOL)

Anyway, does it ask your name, phone, etc. when you pick the adr and put it in the cart?

so, i called, no fantasmic packages are booking, computer problems, same story. Call bac in an hour they say. That sux, bt 15 minutes later, phone rings, guess who. A wonderful cm gets computer fixed and calls me to tell me, i got your ressie!!! Now thats disney magic, im all done. I cant wait 90 days now, its going o be a long summer!:yay::yay::yay:

How do I do an online check of the ADRs I've already made by phone? I'm staying onsite but I haven't got my resort reservation number because the ones we get issued in UK are different from the US reservation numbers. I had a lot of trouble getting the CMs to find me on the system as I booked through the Walt Disney Travel Comapny in UK and their reservation numbers, for some unknown reason, are not recognised by the computers system in Orlando.
Basically what I'm asking is, is there any way to check my ADRs online without my resort reservation number please?

I think you make some great comments.

Regarding people who are not even gong to WDW making ressies for the fun of it - not sure this would happen. Why would someone do that, doesn't make any sense. It takes time and effort to use this systm, so not sure why people not even going would waste their time making reservations - and even if some 'crazy people' did, it would be so few it wouldn't have an impact.

Because there are some sick puppies out there, who do that sort of stuff for fun. Why do hackers try to bring down Microsoft's site, Yahoo, google, etc? Because they can.

It wouldn't surprise me in the SLIGHTEST if we saw the same sort of thing occur here. Without any "controls" on the system, it's just too easy a target. Simply having a valid email address isn't enough.

Ok - 7:04 (EST) I was able to book everything. Took about 30 minutes. I did call yesterday and verify my phone number that was apart of my booking and it was my cell phone number from my trip two years ago. So, I changed my number yesterday to the correct number.

I got
SCI Fi
Crystal Palace
Garden Grill
Tusker House
Princess Breakfast
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey

Le Cellier suprised me, I had back ups planned. Garden Grill, though, I could only get 4:30 or 7:30. No other times worked.

My Mother in laws credit card would not work for holding the ressies. I don't know if I wrote the number down wrong or if because her name is different. I just put it on my debit card.

Good Luck everyone...I have to go take another nap.:thumbsup2

I logged in at 6:50 AM EST and was able to book all the ressies for our 4 day trip 9/15-9/18 in 10 minutes.

We got Liberty Tree Tavern, Ohana, Biergarten and Sci-Fi all at around the times we wanted.

I LOVE the online system - it was very fast and easy. :thumbsup2

I could not pull up any ADRs for August, yet I could for my July trip. I called the dining number and gave them one of the ADRs for August and asked what phone number was associated with that reservation and she said there was NO phone number associated with it. So unless the CM tied your ADRs to a phone number, you won't be able to pull up the old ones. I had no problem checking my July ADRs though with my home number.

Thanks for explaining this. I'm guessing then that my phone ADRs are linked only to my resort reservation and not to my telephone number. I haven't been able to pull up the ADRs I made back in March. I even called last night to make sure that they were still there and the CM confirmed all of them. I can pull up a couple of ADRs I made last night online, but none of the phone ones.

At the risk of asking a dumb question...

Where in the dining section do you see the option to pull up reservations that you've made?

Thanks in advance!

All you need is your ADR conf. # and the phone number you used when booking.

Nevermind - I think I got it. Not that it's working... but at least I see where in theory I could pull it up!

Does anyone know what time restaurants start booking for breakfast and lunch? The menus website used to have the times on it, but I don't see them anymore. If I'm wanting to book the first breakfast time, I'd hate to be wasting time entering 7:00, then 7:15, etc, until I find the first one!

Yes, it does ask for your name, phone, etc. If you log in before you book the reservation it pulls some of that information in automatically. I used the system this morning to book an ADR for my trip in August. I'm staying at the Dolphin and I booked through Orbitz, so the dining reservation is entirely separate from my hotel and flight itineraries.

The only problem, I can only retrieve that reservation! When I try to retrieve all the old reservations that I made on the phone on Monday they are not there (no matter what phone number I use).

Lots of people (myself included) haven't been able to pull up some or all of their previously made phone reservations. I even called to verify my CRT that wouldn't pull up online and it was fine.

So, it is 6AM EST for the switchover? Excellent! An hour head start on the phone is nice...I make mine tomorrow, so I'll see how it goes then!

Any travel agents out there know if your systems now update at 6am or is it still 3am? Just curious. :)
