Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

I used the online system to make all of my ADRs. I played around with it prior to my 90 day date so I could get used to it. It took me about 40 minutes to get everything. I loved it but now I'm addicted to it - I keep going to check if there are other times available, should I book a different restaurant, etc. I hated always calling and changing so this is much easier.

WOW where have I been --- on line ressies!! I didn't even know. So does anyone know if you can do the 10 days out from the 90 day. Like you are staying 9 days you can call at your 90 day mark and then you can make ressies for really 100 days out because you are staying 10 days at WDW. Does anyone know what I am talking about, sometimes I confuse myself ;) :confused3:confused3

Trying to be sure I know what I am doing when I get to day 90...would like to book my whole trip and do the last days first b/c thats where my harder ressies are

so Ideally when i log on at 600 on day 90 it will let me book for day 96

so when/how do I associate my login with my reservation at the hotel and test that it works (I have a travel agent reservation)?

thanks!

Unless somthing has changed reservations through a TA can not be pulled up on the Disney system and can not be booked online with the 90 + 10. You will have to get your TA to book your ADR's.

You can go online at 6am and book for the 90 day from your check in for each of the days of your trip ( tomorrow for 10/2, Sunday for 10/3 and so on).

You can try to pull up your reservation, just go to the site and pick a resturant to book. Just above the calendar to put in the date you are requesting there will be a place to click Retrieve your Reservation you can go ahead and try putting in your confirmation # and phone number and see if the system will associate with your reservation. Being booked with a TA it should not .

Your other option is to call on your 90 day mark @ 7am and then the CM can book you with the 90 +10.

Let us know what you get when you put in your ressie info on the site!!

I am so excited! I call tomorrow for my ADRs, and I was messing around with the online stuff. I have tried my reservation # many times, and got the "DVC can call to make ressies" type prompt. Just now I tried and got it!!!
It pulled up all my DVC dates!!!
Will it still work in the morning???
I'm so excited!!!:woohoo::yay::banana::cool1::rotfl2:

Go online and pick a restaurant and click on Book a Reservation. Then Under Update Profile click on Retrieve a Reservation. Type in the reservation # and the phone # that was given when you (TA) made the resort reservation. Click on Retrieve and your dates should show up. Don't put dashes in the phone #, just type the #'s.

If your TA doesn't do the ADR bookings for you, get the information from him/her. It should work-test it out tonight. Go through and pretend to book so you know what the next screen is. You can cancel even after you add it to the cart, just check out and then click remove.

Have a CC if you are booking anything that requires a CC hold.

Disney will not charge you anything unless you are booking dinner shows, fantasmic pkg., Princess meals (amount up front). If you are on the Disney Dining Plan then they will only take your credit card as a hold and your Dining Plan will be charged when you arrive at the resturant.

Just basic meals at Disney booked online or by phone does not cost anything to book.

So if I wanted to book the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare...I'd have to pay for both people up front? Thanks in advance again.

There is a link if you have a resort reservation and it asks for your confirmation number and phone number. Everytime I put in the information, I get a message saying they are unable to retrieve my reservation and that I can call for my dining reservations. I have tried several times over several days and I keep getting the message. By now, every day I am going to be there is available to book online with everyone else. I have been having a very hard time getting my first choices for my end of September trip.

there is an orange suitcase in the upper right corner of the screen. click on that then a list of options will pop up....click "saved dining reservations" and it'll bring you back to your cart! Have fun!
Wow, this is great! But when I click on that, and enter ANY of my ADR conf #s w/ phone # it comes back and shows me my HOTEL ressie. LOL

The only way I have found to do what the OP was asking is to pretend to book another ressie, and then at that point I can see a button for "all ressies", and get to a screen where I enter my ADR and phone # and it actually brings up the ADR and I can cancel it. I think it is VERY convoluted for cancelling online!

Last Saturday I called at 7:09 and the message said my wait time was 40 minutes :scared1:

So while I was waiting I made all my ressies online! Then I didn't have to wait on the phone. I was only making 3 reservations (PSB, 1900PF and Tusker House) but I got them, and at the times I wanted.

You do not have to pay for 1900 park fare upfront. The only ones prepaid would be CRT and dinner shows like HDDR and Mickey's Backyard BBQ

I can't retrieve any of the ADR's I made today.

Mabybe you don't have the right phone # that you gave when you booked the room. Try any of the other #'s you might have. If you booked with a TA then you will have to get the information from them.

Sorry, I forgot about 1900 Park Fare Dinner, you will not have to pay up front for that one, just for Cinderella's Royal Table and Aukerhaus.

lol, thanks! Hopefully we'll get to do that (the strawberry soup sounds delicious), and Boma! Only a few more days till I get to make my ADR's.

You shouldn't have too much problems getting any of your hard to book places at the end of your trip. You're there for 9nts. We'll be there for 10 and I was able to book everything I wanted (the popular LeCellier, O'Hana, Chef Mickey,s etc on the last few nights). As for your order, I've never been to Narcoossees, so I don't know how hard it is to book or not and I've heard people are having trouble with HDDR (for the level of seats offered on DP) but...like a previous OP suggested, I'd pretty much book, from what's left on your list, in order:

O'Hana
Chef Mickeys
WCC
50's PT
Kona
Garden Grill

:wizard: Hope you get everything you want!!!

I have a list sitting by my computer ready for 6:00 a.m. (5:00 a.m. here) and have my top 3 listed just as you do. Thanks for your suggestions and the well wishes!

Hi guys
Ok, so I have all my ressies set and I am ready to make my ADR's and my 90 day mark would be tomorrow, so do I call and make them or can I do all of them online? If I do them online can I go ahead and make them for the whole week or only day by day? Would it just be better to call in the morning and have disney do all my ADR's for the week?:confused3:confused3

If you are staying on WDW property, you can book your ADR's for your entire vacation (up to 10 days) tomorrow! It's really fun to do it online! I did all of ours online & got everything we wanted! Plus, you can do it @ 6am EST instead of waiting to call @ 7am!! Have fun! :goodvibes
