not me!!!

Brother & Sister are trying to get reservations and they are panicking. I try to warn them.:confused3

No surprise here - just frustration. I still can't find all the February hours. This is not a magical way to start the day. Yuck!

The second I read the thread title I thought, "what else is new?!!" LOL Good luck to everyone trying to get their ressies today...I know I was frustrated when it wouldn't work for me. Hopefully you all got through on the phone by now instead.

Just tried to call Disney Dining and ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY! OMG!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:
Who knows where I will be eating in April.

I only made two reservations on the on line ADR system for my trip earlier this month. I only did it once, but for my lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby, the system said I'd made three reservations and for breakfast at Akershus, the system said I'd made 2 reservations. I guess that's better than not making them at all, but I felt bad that I may have precluded someone else from getting in during that time slot. :sad2:

I'm still trying to get through on the phone. Still busy. :confused3

I am a DVC member staying on points for 2 nights in April at Bay Lake Tower. Tried the online system at 6am and it went down. Tried calling and got "all circuits are busy". Decided to wait until 9am when member services opened. Got right through at exactly 9am and made my 3 ADR's. I feel VERY lucky right now. The CM at member services said their board was lighting up like a christmas tree. We both agreed that this should have been rolled out in stages and not all in one day.

I was lucky and got to make most of my reservations for January yesterday at 90 days. I forgot that I have a split reservation BLT and AKL and needed to call back to book the AKL days today. I knew I would not get in today so I just booked the restaurants I really wanted for the first 5 days of the trip...I will book the rest when it calms down.

It does not seem to be very busy the last week of January because all my reservation I made yesterday are at real times like 5:30, 12:00, 6:30.

I asked for 8:05 for a breakfast reservation and they offered me 8:00......you know it is slow when that happens.:)

Well, I finally got through to Disney Dining. Unfortunately the system was down. I calmly said I have been trying since 6 am to make my ADRs. No sympathy from the CM. Glad I didn't have to keep talking to him. He had the NERVE to suggest the online system. Are these people so completely clueless they think they would be getting so many phone calls if the system were working?

He said to try back in 1/2 hour, I have been dialing constantly on my lunch. I can't do that when I'm not on lunch.

OK, vent over.

I was finally able to get on the online system at 11pm (CST) this evening. The March hours for Animal Kingdom are posted and that's it. So I made some reservations based on some unofficial site predictions on hours. It I need to go in and change them later I will. The online system was nice and easy to use now that it is up and running.

It would be nice if they got the hours posted!

I found all the hours for April. Don't go to the park hours at the bottom. There is a calendar at the top by park. Try that.

I was able to make some of my ADRs last night over the phone and I got another one this morning online. When I tried to go back in a few minutes ago, the online system was down again. :confused3

I moved our trip back two days just so I didn't have to call yesterday and deal with the rush :cool2: I knew it would be chaos! I was lucky and the day I was up to book my ADR's the online system was working at 6am and I got everything I wanted and no crashes :thumbsup2 It really is anyones guess about when it will work !

They release 90 extra days of availability all at once and the system can't cope with 90 times its normal daily load and falls over within a minute.

Gosh, who'd have thunk it eh? Not Disney, obviously. :rolleyes1

I wish they would stick with the 90 day booking window! I don't know what I want to eat 90 days out, I sure don't know 180 days out :sad2:

I used the online ADR system this morning to book a dinner and a breakfast for April and it worked without a hitch. Hopefully this will become more the rule than the exception.
