I'm doing well- 6 months into maternity leave! Crazy!
We really want to do a vacation while I am off but are limited to where we can travel (Zika) - we had thought about WDW at spring break as some really good flights came up on aeroplan but I stalled on whether or not to go and of course they were gone. In the mean time we've done some short trips- went to Vancouver for a weekend, went to Edmonton to see Garth Brooks, going to Drumheller near Calgary in 10 days to see my sister, so still doing some short trips staying with family...
I am itching for a "big" vacation though...

So, I just added several days of updates since I somehow got behind. Now I just have to go make some money and I can update for today.

I did want to point out that I rolled some coins from the vacation jar and deposited them into the vacation account, which is why there's now only like $17 in the jar and over $500 in the account.

We went out of town over the weekend to visit my sister and my sweet, new nephew and managed to stay within budget. It doesn't really affect our vacation savings...but I was both shocked and thrilled with that thriftiness...so I'm bragging about it here!

The money is not accumulating as fast as I would like it to. I have a new strategy for the money of April in terms of gasoline and groceries, so I'm hopeful that will lead to more money in the vacation account. Until then, I just have to keep plugging away on the old system and see if I can close out this month respectably.

**Got groceries today and used up the bulk of my rewards dollars. I then put the corresponding $70 from the grocery budget into the vacation account.
