to anyone who's just returned from a fabulous DLP trip: how was weather, crowds etc.? also, i was just in amsterdam and the weather was beautiful - can i expect similar in paris? maybe even a little warmer (i hope!)

ok we returned on the 18th march, it was warm the 1st few days, opnly walked around in a fleece, but on the fri/sat the wind got up and it was cold and i mean hat, scarves and gloves jobby. the parks were quiet on the tue/wed/thur and busy on the fri but sat, boy they were unberarable, just about managed to walk around the huge crowds, but i gather all weekends are like this.
oh and it was really sunny the whole time we were there, i wish i packed my sunglasses as the glare was very bright, enjoy your trip,say hello to mickey and the gang for us.

My advice is to take what they say with a pinch of salt until a couple of days beforehand!! Before my trip they forecast every type of weather going!!
