One way rental vent....

Grrr...we are driving down to WDW... after a Dis'er suggested two one-way rentals instead of a round trip rental to save $$; I just booked a one-way (1 week) Avis Minivan rental from MCO to Delaware for $121.75 Problem is no matter what I try - different p/u locations, codes, even different rental co. - the other one-way rental from DE to MCO is either 'sold out' or are charging $150-$180 a day.!! Which defeats the purpose & savings !! Any suggestions?

BTW why are they reporting Sold Out?? When I do the round trip rental from these locations, miraculously the minivans are available!!!

Because they are moving cars north for the summer, and don't want them taken down to Florida. You will likely find a r/t rental will be the only logical way to go.
