Any tips for getting a decent price on a one way car rental? We are flying down the Fri before Tgiving, Looking to rent a car at the airport then drive all week and drive back home Thanksgiving weekend, allowing for a stop to visit family. The prices I am getting are higher than airfare so I am hoping there's something I am missing. Help!

A northbound one way rental in November is going to be expensive no matter what. That's when rental companies need to move cars south.

The great prices that you see posted here on the Transportation board are generally round trip rentals from MCO (or TPA, SFB, MIA etc.)
One-ways that go out of state are typically pretty expensive. It's probably cheaper if you were to rent at home and drive both ways then return (because it's not a One-way rental)
You will be renting against the flow, that is to say, they are typically looking to bring cars into Florida for the busy Christmas break period, not move them out of the area.

EDIT: Oops sorry, looks like Alesia already gave you pretty much the same answer

try carrentals.com. I usually have decent luck with that website. We are doing a one way day after Christmas and flying back. Monitoring prices as well!

We always rent through Costco and have pretty good rates, but I check frequently and rebook any time it goes down.

Do you have to be a Costco member, Scootypuffjr?
If you use the Costco code on your reservation with Alamo, it requires you to enter your Costco Member number to complete the reservation.
We've been using the Costco codes since we got our membership in 2010 and have never been asked to show our card, but we always have it with us anyway.

That being said, if your parents, kids, aunts, uncles or cousins have a membership and are willing to share their membership number you could give it a try
