How many points can you buy a year?

If I have a reservation using One time Use points, can I modify a reservation on line or do I have to call to make the changes? I need to buy some points to complete a reservation. Currently, my place that I own has all the dates available but I am wanting to try to switch at 7 months which is in a few days. The other place I am thinking the rooms are going fast so I will have to switch first thing in the morning on line or call. I would prefer to do it on-line if I can.

Just trying to see if I have all the points that I need already in a reservation can I make the switch on line? Also, if the new reservation is a few points cheaper, will they use the one time use points first?

Max of 24 OTU points per membership per use year.

If I understand what you're describing... You can't do what you're proposing because you can't buy OTUP until 7 months anyways. You have to wait.

Ugh, I kinda forgot about that 7 months. I guess I will just call in the morning to purchase the points. I am trying to book the last week of May. My home (Poly) is available but was interested in switching to Beach Club or Riveria. I have enough points for almost 4 nights and just a few points shy. Poly is available on the 29 where Beach Club is available starting on the 30th. Trying to avoid a split stay and since we just stayed at Poly we wanted to try something new. I think I will just book Poly (home resort) now just to make sure I have something.
