One Time Use Points Question

My use year is October. If i buy one time use points for a vacation in May 2014, Could i again by one time use points again in December 2014, since that's after my new use year starts? I'm not sure if i need to buy them yet, but just trying to figure out 2 trips next year!

Buying one time points from Disney at $15 is expensive, have you considered a transfer into your account from another member for less

No fees. We've had to do it last trip - worked great, so simple and $15 didn't seem bad to me for filling out my reservation and the ease to do it.

I've got to say this is one of my favorite features of the program. Even when buying points way back when I was puzzled as to how one could efficiently use every single point up year after year. This little bit of flexibility offered by DVC makes my life a lot easier!

As for transfers, that's not often worth it to another member to do it for much less than 100 points, since one can only transfer once per year. Also, there is the trust issue which I have always struggled with when it comes to the prospect of renting from another member.
