Trying to plan a trip in December. We were hoping to book a GV but my mother-in-law cannot climb stairs very well. Is BWV the only resort that has a one story as well as a few two story GV? Possibly does OKW or SSR offer any other alternatives with their GV?

Thanks!

Some, if not all, SSR Grand Villas have access to the second floor by using the elevator and entering from the hallway.

As Pam noted, all GV's at SSR have elevator access to the second floor of the villa. Each SSR building has 2 GV's.

BWV has 5 single floor GV's on the 3rd (2), 4th (2) and 5th (1) floors.

None of the GV's at OKW have accessible 2nd floors - only access by the stairs. There is one GV in building 48 with ground level access for the first floor and one GV in building 63 with elevator access to the first floor - but none have an exterior door for the 2nd floor like st SSR.

HH has 5 GV's but all are are up 2 flights of stair to get to the first floor. The 6 Beach House GV's at VB all have first floor bedrooms (accessed by a few steps into the villa), but the kitchen/dining area/balcony is only on the 2nd floor with no elevator access.

No worries at BCV or VWL, as neither resort has any GV's at all. ;)

Many thanks for the info. I wish VWL had a GV (me and numerous others I'm sure). I didn't realize that SSR had that option. So far, BWV and SSR are the only two resorts that we've not stayed at. Any opinions comparing those two resorts and their GV's?
