I am caught up in this question. I am not sure if staying at one resort would make our vacation feel longer. If we split it up, it may feel shorter. We are planning on staying 9 nights.

Thinking about doing:

1) POR (4days)/ POLY(5days) or just one or the other.

Any opinions?

Thanks

I think you are staying long enough to make it worth it. We have done split stays the last to trips and we really enjoyed being able to try new resorts because of it.

We have done split stays and enjoyed the change of pace and surroundings. WDW makes it easy to move. We just throw our stuf in the bags and and head to the park while one of use (usually me) heads over and checks-in to the new hotel and maybe for some all alone mom spa time!!!! And then come back to the room mid-afternoon. We have always been lucky and the room has been ready by lunch time so we could swim before dinner if we wanted!

I always tell myself I am not going to split my stay but I do it every time. Last time it was Poly/ Boardwalk. This time GF/BCV. I usually do four to five nights at each. I do not think I would do it for a 6-7 night stay.

I would try it and see if it is for you! Disney makes this very easy!:)

Do it....it really feels like 2 vacations.

I love split stays...I'm doing BWV and OKW in April....so excited to try 2 new
resorts.
Getting closer to my goal of trying them all:goodvibes
happy planning

Does WDW move your luggage from one resort to the another if doing a split stay? Later this year, I have 7 nights booked at BCV. I will probably come up two days earlier and stay at another resort for two nights. Will they move my luggage while I am at a park?

We did a split in 2006 (3 nights POR/3 nights YC) and it really did feel like two different vacations. This year the kids and I are doing 4 nights at POFQ, followed by 7 nights at WL when DH flies down to join us. We always have a rental car so the move is no big deal. Just be sure you do the less expensive option first so it doesn't feel like a downgrade when you move:).
