One person can't make it to CRT can I get a refund?

I have reservations at the castle for this Sat. for 1 adult and 3 children. I pre-paid using my credit card months ago. My son had an injury this weekend and will be staying home with his Dad. I have tried to call Disney Dining to ask them this question, but I keep getting hung up on. I don't want to cancel my reservations b/c my girls still want to go. And I don't want to try and change the reservation b/c I will probably loose them completely. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I guess that I am just out the money I paid for my son to go.

You should be able to cancel the one person. Keep calling until you get someone - you shouldn't be getting hung up on.

They must be having issues with the phone system tonight. I got through and someone started to help me but we got disconnected. I had to call several more times before the system stopped disconnecting me. Finally, I got someone on the phone and she changed my party size. It wasn't a problem at all. I was afraid that she would have to cancel my existing reservation to do it. At least that is how they used to do it. Maybe the new system allows them to easily change party size by one person without changing the reservation. Anyway, I will be getting my refund credited to my credit card.
