Not so much funny as a what the heck moment, but..
We ended up going for a week long trip during the
exact week that Hurricane Fay conveniently decided to invade the Orlando area. One of the days we decided to head over to MK and brave the incoming rain (it finally stopped for a few hours) and crowds. However, 2 hours later (well after opening) and we noticed that the park was esstentially dead - more CM's walking around than guests. We overheard a few of the CM's walking around say that there was less than 100 guests in the park!
Now I realize that it doesn't seem like anything, but never in my life have I heard the words "less than 100 guests" and "Magic Kingdom" used in the same sentence - especially in the middle of summer!
Probably the funniest thing I've ever seen was while stuck on Rock n' Rollercoaster in the midst of it breaking down - the launch failed and we got stuck at the bottom of the loop. I've never seen so many cast members run that fast with the most confused looks on their faces.
