One of a kind fun/interesting foods

The Matterhorn Sundae is quite large ~ the kids and I split it this past May and we couldn't finish it! It has at least 3 scoops each of strawberry, chocolate & vanilla ice cream! It was all we ordered. Looking forward to this again next Wednesday!

Okay, so it does have 3 scoops! I couldn't recall off-hand if it was 2 or 3. I meant that it was "smaller" compared to that behemoth "Kitchen Sink" thing at the PCH Grill, but anything would look smaller next to that!:lmao: Yes, on its own, the Matterhorn Sundae is a very generous size. The last time I had it, 3 of us shared it, so I think we each had a scoop of ice cream and that was plenty.

Have you ever tried the applie pie at Carnation? The apple pie a la mode (which not only comes with the expected ice cream but also with whipped cream and a couple of strawberries too) is very yummy, and if you have an extra sweet tooth that day/night, you can get a whole dessert meal of the Matterhorn Sundae and the pie and share them all among your group wiht some hot beverages, and it is a really nice way to cap off an evening!

If it's the same tiny mug I have a pic of....somewhere, a tiny little white coffee looking mug with a candy cane? They sold those at blue ribbon bakery as well :)

I can't wait for all of the fun holiday treats to start appearing!

I didn't see the one at BRB, but I am sure it is the same or very similar. It was a long name for what essentially was called Peppermint Pot Cake (which doesn't really sound all that tasty, when you think about it!). There was a white collectors mug, some cake in the mug, whipped cream on top and a candy cane hanging from the side!

What is the PB&J pallete? Anyone have any pics? Thanks!! :cutie:

I don't have any pics, unfortunately. But it is so cute! It comes on a painters pallete with the bread and peanut butter and little cups of marshmellows, raisins, bananas and jam (I may be missing more). The kids get to make their own sandwich. :goodvibes

I'm suprised no one said the Dole whip or float by the Tiki Room! Those are so refreshing on a hot summer day!

I also like getting the frozen apple juice @ the icee stands.

Catch a Flave has my favorite soft serve w/ whatever flavor swirl you want! My faves are strawberry, cotton candy, & bubble gum.

And before they tear it down, San Andreas Shakes has the best blueberry crumble shake! Even though the shake doesn't look very big, it's so filling & they give you a lot of blueberries!

The cherry syrup used at Coke Corner is specially made for Disneyland and
slightly different than any other cherry syrup.

Add me to the list of fans of the orange sherbet at Wine Counrty Trattoria.

Not a fan of the Tigger Tails but I love all the other chocolate dipped marshmallows.

A trip to DL is not complete without a Dole Whip.

And to the adults in the crowd, there are 2 sparkling wines made specially for Disney and only sold at the resorts and on the cruise ships. Fairytale Cuvee (a sparkling white) and Magicale (a sparkling red).
