One night stay in October

Hi guys,

I've been to DLP twice before, but only on day trips from Paris.

Myself, OH, my sister and her OH are going to go for 2 days in October when they are visiting from Australia, so arrive around lunchtime, parks that day, stay overnight probably in Newport Bay then parks the next morning, then back to London (well for me and my OH, the other two are going for a little adventure around Europe).

Having 4 adults in the hotel for one night is turning out expensive as I'm sure you can imagine, £680 in fact, that's Admiral level, which isn't much more expensive than a standard room.

I guess where'd I'm headed with this is does anyone know if they ever run promotions on one night stays? Is it going to get any cheaper closer to the date or should I just bite the bullet and book?

Apart from the across the board discounts (when we booked for our last trip it was 30% off regardless of length of stay, dates or hotel) I really don't know if offers ever apply to one night stays, sorry.

Can I ask why you chose Newport Bay? Was there anything about the hotel that was particularly attracting you to it? Have you considered the Sequoia Lodge which should be a bit more reasonably priced?

No we didn't choose Newport Bay for any particular reason, I've looked at Sequoia Lodge and it does work out about £50 cheaper, but between 4 of us it doesn't make a huge difference.

My sister has since looked at the hotels and she likes Newport Bay, I guess I was hoping to get a 30% off promo or something, I've subscribed to emails from DLP so lets hope something pops up!
