One night at MK for Christmas decorations

Oooooh, The park times guide is showing A Frozen Holiday Wish at 6:30pm starting November 2nd. Now if I understand this show correctly, this is when Elsa lights up the castle. Correct?
That is correct.

You'll get more responses if you start a new thread or edit the thread title so it will grab attention of those who go during that week.

That after 4pm ticket is totally worth it. I would use it to go to the park you can get the most hours in during your visit. An evening in Epcot is pretty magical. So is MK if they are doing Wishes. Or even if they aren't. HS has some pretty spectacular shows. I would consider ALL of your options.

I've been to every park many times. I've just never been to MK during Christmas season. This is the only park I care about right now. I wouldn't mind being able to see the new Soarin', but I can wait on that.

Now am I safe to assume I will not be able to really take advantage of FP+ at all since I am arriving after 5pm.

There should still be FP+ available. Possibly not for 7DMT, but most of the other rides should be available particularly since you are a party of 1. I went solo to MK one night without FP+, stopped at a kiosk and all the other coasters were available. I actually got pixie dusted that night as the CM who was helping me at the kiosk said, "follow me" and walked me onto 7DMT as his special guest. It was very sweet.
