"One More Waffle!" An October 2011 TR! *Update 4/24, pg 70-The End!*

I actually really, really like sushi, and tuna in a cup looks yicky. Maybe it's because I'm picturing eating it in the sweltering heat of our last WDW trip, but it just isn't appealing to me.
Godiva iced coffee, though... that sounds amazing! You better believe I am getting one of those!

Thanks for your advice (and Missy, too!) on F&W. At dinner tonight, Ben was telling me that he was worried about not enough time in Epcot so we'll probably be re-working our plans a little.

I totally wish our October trips lined up! I think we'd have a blast doing a sweep of the World Showcase together!

Haha, yeah, eating that in the heat doesn't really sound so good! The Godiva Iced Coffee is SO good! I would love one right now, actually!

You definitely need a lot of time in Epcot for Food and Wine! We were there so much on our trip, and there is still so much that I missed!

I wish we were going at the same time too, it would be fun to be at the Food and Wine festival with other adults that like to drink!

Ahhh I love those Illuminations pictures! And those mussels-- yummy! I thought the price was very reasonable for the amount of mussels you got-- my favorite item at F&W!!

I'm all caught up -- finally. Your evening at Epcot looks great, and the pictures are beautiful. Some of the items you got look really yummy too.

Thanks! You know how much I love Illuminations! :lovestruc I didn't try the mussels, but Brandon loves them! The prices of the F&W festival aren't bad, it's mostly the drinks that are a bit on the high side, but the food is pretty reasonable! :thumbsup2

Thanks, it was a great night at Epcot! I love the Food and Wine festival, it's such a great time to be at Epcot!

NEW TICKER!!!!

You guys notice something different? My new ticker, perhaps? :rolleyes1 And that it's not 8 months from now, it's 3? :woohoo:

Here's what happened. Ever since we decided on September for a long trip, I was having a bad feeling about it. I didn't want to worry about hurricanes. I didn't want to deal with the heat. We were thinking of staying at the Poly, and even with AP's and a possible 35%-40% discount, I was freaking out at the idea of the cost, it was kind of crazy to spend that amount on one trip. Not to mention it would have been a 9 day trip, and Brandon doesn't like long trips anymore. He doesn't want to do more than a week, and I kept insisting.

We've also been really stressed lately, we're both dealing with a lot of anxiety, to the point where it's affecting us physically. I feel like we need a break, so I texted him one day at work last week and mentioned going to Disney in May for our anniversary instead of September, and he said fine, let's go. :woohoo:

So I booked our trip last night, we're going from May 5-May 9, another Saturday-Wednesday trip, except we will be flying home late Wednesday so we can have most of the day at the parks! I didn't buy plane tickets yet, but I will be in the next week or so. I'm not telling you where we are staying yet, because I'm surprising Brandon...he thinks we're staying one place, but I booked somewhere else! I will reveal that in the PTR, I'm hoping to start in March when I finish my December TR!

As for a Fall trip? Well, we're either going to do another 5 or 6 day Disney trip in November or December...OR go to California for Disneyland and other CA things! Of course, we might not go anywhere in the Fall, as of now, it's just an idea, it depends on what happens throughout the year! If anything, I'd like to at least do a quick Food and Wine weekend trip, but we'll see! Right now, I'm happy with May, I need a break from everything, and in 3 months I'll be in my happy place and I'm thrilled about that! Can't wait to share my plans with you guys, I'll let you know when I start a PTR, but like I said, it won't be until my December TR is finished, probably in a month or so!

Yeah! A Trip in 3 months - AWESOME!!
can't wait to hear your plans for it~ especially where you are staying!!!
and I hope you also get a fall trip in!
:dance3:

Yay for your trip being in May now!!! That's great that you're feeling much better about your trip, and how fun that'll be for your anniversary!!

Where does Brandon think that you're staying now? Or is that being saved for the PTR too? Can't wait to hear more!! :yay:

Yay! Congrats for your new trip. May sounds like a nice month to visit as well, especially if it's not too hot. And I like the California in December idea. Just as something new and fun to explore!

Yay, a new trip! I knew you were going to buckle. I just knew it! Because I would have buckled. :lmao:

Woo hoo! :woohoo: I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear where you're staying. I've got a couple guesses in mind. I'll have to see if I'm correct! ;)

Yay for a trip in May! While it's nice to stay for a long time, short trips really aren't so bad. Plus it means you get to go more often. :) I'm anxious to hear where you are going to stay. popcorn::

Wow Jen! I have to say that you are really full of surprises. I did not see that one coming. See what an AP does?

I've been to the world in early May during the last two years and its a nice time to visit. Not too hot. Not too crowded. Just right.

Happy Planning! :goodvibes

Yay for May!!!!! You're going to be there the same time as me!:thumbsup2 It's a great time to go, and it's nice that you guys are going to celebrate your anniversary at Disney once again. Can't break tradition, right? :rotfl:
Can't wait to hear where you guys are staying. I have a couple guesses in mind, but I'll keep them to myself until I hear more.

Yay for a May trip! That's so exciting! I definitely vote for a California trip in the fall--that's what we're considering!

I know! I can't believe we're going in just 3 months! Time to get serious about Weight Watchers! :scared1:

I'm happy we're going in May! I was excited about September at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I was like "ugh, September again?" :rotfl: It's so hot, I don't want to deal with the humidity, and I know Brandon would be annoyed half way through it because it would be a 9 day trip!

Hmmm...I think I'll wait til the PTR to tell you the whole story of where we're staying, just to make my PTR a little more interesting! :upsidedow I know it really doesn't matter if you all know, I'm just trying to drag out the surprise for everyone! I will say this though, we're not staying at the Poly! :sad1:

Yay! Congrats for your new trip. May sounds like a nice month to visit as well, especially if it's not too hot. And I like the California in December idea. Just as something new and fun to explore!

Thanks! May is a nice time to go, the Flower and Garden festival is so pretty! I hope we can go to CA/Disneyland in the Fall, but if not, I'm sure we will go another time!

Yay, a new trip! I knew you were going to buckle. I just knew it! Because I would have buckled. :lmao:

Haha, well, I didn't really buckle, I just didn't feel good about going in September, that's all! I have to say though, I'm so excited about getting a trip together in 3 months, instead of dragging it out all year! :woohoo: 3 months is still a long enough time to build up the anticipation of going, but not too long where it feels like the trip will never get here!

Woo hoo! :woohoo: I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear where you're staying. I've got a couple guesses in mind. I'll have to see if I'm correct! ;)

Thanks! I think where we are staying might surprise some of you, which is why I'm holding off til I start a PTR to tell you! :yay:

I'm excited, I don't even care that it's a short trip, it's the same amount of time we had for our Disneymoon and we had a great time on that trip! I just kept thinking about how tired we were at the end of our October trip, and how it took like, a week to recover when we got home and I just didn't want to do that again! And the heat! I know it can be hot in May, but I'm hoping it won't be too humid at least! Our Disneymoon was really hot and humid and everyone said that wasn't normal for May, so I'm hoping for some nice, sunny non-humid weather! And NO RAIN! :rotfl:

Just caught up on your TR! Can't wait to read the rest!

Welcome, thanks for joining, there is still a lot of trip left!

Haha, well, full of surprises, or totally indecisive!

It's nice having the AP, not having to worry about tickets is a definite plus, and the resort discounts are nice too! :thumbsup2 I think this will be the last use we get out of it, though, unless, like I said, we do a quick Food and Wine weekend trip before October 5! :rotfl:

We went in May for our Disneymoon and it was nice, it was so sunny and colorful, and the crowds were manageable! :thumbsup2 It was kind of on the hot side, but still nowhere near September! I can't wait to start my PTR! I have to finish up my December TR!

Yay for May!!!!! You're going to be there the same time as me!:thumbsup2 It's a great time to go, and it's nice that you guys are going to celebrate your anniversary at Disney once again. Can't break tradition, right? :rotfl:

I know, I wonder if we will run into you guys? I already planned out our days, it was hard planning this trip, with the short amount of time we have, but I wonder if anything overlaps!

It's nice that we can celebrate our anniversary in Disney this year, I'm even thinking of getting a specialty cake made!

I can't wait to hear everyone guess where we're going to stay! I wonder who will be right?

Yay for a May trip! That's so exciting! I definitely vote for a California trip in the fall--that's what we're considering!

Thanks, I'm really excited! I feel like it will make the winter go by much faster now! I hope we get to CA in the Fall, I almost feel like I'm ready to try something new! I also am HOPING we can take an Alaskan cruise next year, but I'm thinking way too far ahead right now...:rotfl:

Congrats on the new ticker. Since you mentioned "surprising" Brandon, I have an idea of where you might be staying....that is if you don't change it again. ;)

Thank you, I'm so excited, I really, really can't wait for this trip now that it's definite! :cool1:

I'm definitely not changing the resort, I know that for a fact...well...99% sure!
