Back To Epcot!
Monday 10/3
After we left AK, we were pretty tired, so it was back to WL to rest and shower and all that! Once we both felt energized again, it was off to Epcot! We didn't have any dinner ADR's for the night, we just wanted to enjoy the Food and Wine festival!
It was a beautiful night, the day was hot, but it was starting to cool off, and I was so happy to be going back to my favorite park. If only there would be some Soarin' FP's available...once we got there, I checked, but nope. Too late, it was around 5 when we arrived there, and all the FP's were already gone!

So we went to the next best place...Test Track!

It was a 20 minute wait, which isn't bad for TT, so we got in line. There was a guy with his son in front of us, who was maybe 9 or 10, and they saw Brandon's Red Sox hat and they started talking to him about baseball. They talked the entire time we were in line! They were from Chicago, and were Cubs fans, and talked about our GM might go there (which were just rumors at that point, but it actually ended up happening. I'm still not very happy about that...I like the Cubs, but I'm still not sure why Theo isn't our GM anymore...Grrrr...

Anyway, TT was having technical difficulties, as usual, so it took a lot longer than 20 minutes. And once we were in the car, it stopped...I was glad it didn't stop in one of the rooms with the hot and cold, can you imagine? I would have had a panic attack if that happened!
Once we got going, it was great, as always, but I'm glad this ride is getting an update! It does seem a bit outdated at this point!
After TT we were ready for some Food and Wine! After reading Dugette's TR last year and the infamous Cherry colada, I knew I had to sample the Dragonberry colada at the Caribbean booth this year!

It was good, but not as good as I was hoping. I think I would have liked the cherry one much better, I was wishing they had those this year too! I only drank like, half of it and threw it away. I mean, what is a Dragonberry anyway?
We were hungry, and we both knew we wanted something from the Mexico booth, so we headed that way.

I got the ribeye taco, which was awesome and Brandon got...something else! I didn't take pictures or notes, other than what I got, because I was too busy eating. Quickly.
"Uh, you got some sauce on your shirt"
"Seriously? Whatever, I'll just wipe it off"
I took a napkin and tried wiping the sauce off my shirt and was ready to go, and Brandon said something like "you might want to go in the bathroom and clean it with soap and water" which led to me having a small tantrum. (Yes, I wrote that part in my notes

I don't know why I got so upset, but I had a small freakout about having to go all the way to the bathroom and clean off my shirt. I stomped all the way to Norway to the bathroom like a 5 year old.

Once I regained my sanity after that little meltdown, we went over to Maelstrom

Woo hoo, 10 minute wait! I love this ride SOOOO much! I would probably say it's one of my favorites in all of Disney. I just hope there never comes a day when I have to actually get a FP for it!

After Maelstrom, we of course, found ourselves in Germany, which seems to be Brandon's favorite place in the World Showcase because of the beer, so we stopped there for a little while!

Brandon got his beer and I went in Karmelle Kuche and of course, as always, couldn't decide.

(Sorry, I already took a bite out of it!)
We sat on a curb and I ate my caramel bar and Brandon drank his beer

and I asked Brandon if he wanted a piece. He tried it and liked it but was more interested in his beer.
After sitting for a few minutes, we were ready to move on. We looked at the little town with the train and saw that it was ready for the Food and Wine festival too!

I love how the little town is always themed to what is going on in Epcot at the moment, it's such a cute detail!
We went to Italy after, where I had to get the ravioli again

Yum! I don't know what it is about that ravioli but I could live off of it! We found a bench near the water so I could eat quickly, and the view across the lake was beautiful...my favorite time at Disney again, right before the sun starts going down!

I finished my fantastic ravioli and we moved on to America, where the Hops and Barley booth is located, and another one of our favorites!

We both got beer and Brandon got a lobster roll, which was so ridiculously tiny! We knew that from the year before, but still, I can't believe how small it is!
I of course, had to get a small Cherry Wheat, which is my favorite beer in the entire world!

As you can see, we already walked over to Japan, where we finished up our beers and went into our new favorite store, Mitsukoshi! I love that store so much! I went into the back section this time, where I couldn't go on our first night because of my migraine (the incense smell would have made my headache SO much worse!) and found these:

Cherry blossom branches that I think lit up! They were so beautiful, I wanted to buy them, but then I wondered what I would do with them...so I just stood and admired them for a little while. I love cherry blossoms, I think they are so pretty, if I ever get a tattoo someday, a cherry blossom is going to have to be part of it!

We left Mitsukoshi and went back to the booths, there was still so much more food and wining to do!

Up next...more food and wine and Illuminations!
