Okay, I am thinking of doing a split stay this summer. My son and I are going back to the world in August and this time we are staying for 9 nights (10 days). Since we are staying for a longer period of time I thought it might be fun to do two hotels. He really wants to try Wilderness Lodge and I want to try a moderate. I am a deluxe girl but had so much fun this past summer (DH convinced me to go cheap) at ASMu that I am willing to take on the moderates. So I am thinking 5 nights at POFQ and 4 nights at WL. I know all about Disney will move luggage, etc, etc, etc. . .
My question is, is it worth it to do a split stay? Do you enjoy sampling 2 different resorts? What are the Pros and Cons of doing a split stay (other than just the move)? Do I have to buy two separate packages?
These are my questions. . .thanks in advance for your help.

We are beginning another split stay. 5 nites CR tower room, MK view, then we are moving to the Poly concierge for the last 4 nites of our stay. We will check out early, have bell services take our bags, then monorail it to the Poly to check in!
..I love choosing 2 resorts instead of one! There are 5 of us, so packing does take a little more time, but it all works out!
As I have 3 young children of 3, 6 and 8 I am going to Pop for 6 nights, then WL for 4 nights which is my xmas present to myself
