One more question on room cleaning....

I made reservations for guests of mine and they will be using cash. They will be at BCV. One got a studio at the member discounted rate and the other got a 1 bdrm with no discount. Do they get daily housekeeping since they're on cash? What about the discount - I remember vaguely something that if you get the discount, you forfeit your daily housekeeping...
Any info appreciated.

Member discounted cash rooms get the same cleaning schedule as one reserved on points.

I thought any reservation through MS was treated like a points stay.

Previously, any cash discounted room required the DVC member to be staying the room, too.

Trash & Towel Service
For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

You may want to watch out for discounted rooms through CRO, they would have full housekeeping. There are 40% off offers going around (check the codes and rates board).
