I need one more point to book a whole week for a 2br at AKL for a week in October. It uses 208pts, I only have 207 left......I'm screwed right? One more point -what's a girl to do!?!?!

DVC just recently announced they will allow you to rent additional pts each year (up to 24) for $15/pt. It was on DVCnews.com Can you ask MS about that when you call?

I believe you can only purchase those extra points within the 7 month window, which if you are traveling in October, should work well for you. It's only $15/point, but you can do it only once within your use year.

Not at all for $15 you can purchase that one point from DVC.

As a Disney Vacation Club Member, occasionally you may find yourself in need of just few extra vacation points in order to book that perfect dream vacation. Previously, this required borrowing vacation points from a future use year, but very recently a new alternative was introduced. They're called "one-time-use" vacation points and are available for a fee of $15 ($13.33 plus $1.67 tax) per vacation point. Availability of one-time-use vacation points may be limited or suspended from time to time, and the fee is subject to change.

And in saying you only have 207 points left does that mean you've borrowed all your next year points? Just asking 'cuz it kind of sounds like "left in your current year". If so then I'd borrow before I'd rent from Disney. But maybe you're like me and all borrowed out!
