One more day until my Mom finds out I'm taking her to Disney as a Xmas present! I told her to call me when she opens the package.....she thinks it's a shirt

Oh gosh! It's just as exciting to give wonderful presents as it is to receive them, isn't it?! Better in some ways!

Now that's funny! I'm sure she'll be doing a good imitation of this guy once she figures it out. (I know I would be!)

We did something like this a couple years ago for my partner's family. The trip w/ them had been planned, but we originally told them they'd have to buy their own park tickets. Later we decided to buy the tickets and gave them to them in a Disney Guide book. It was hysterical to watch the look on their faces as they tried to understand what the tickets in their hand really meant.

I love giving good gifts.

She called me in tears saying she was speechless! (Rather a first for my Mom! ). She has had a difficult year and she said this will give her something to look forward to.
It was great to hear. I felt so fortunate to be able to do such a thing.
I sent her all sorts of literature about the DDP, a book of menus, another book about Hidden Mickey's...plus I emailed her links to various Disney sites.
Don't be surprised if you see Rosie Sr. logining on soon!
