I know my initial purchase directly through DVC needs to be 150 points...got that.

At the same time I buy my initial contract can I also get a second contract for less than 150 points or am I limited to 150 point blocks?

You can actually make your first contract for more than 150 points, if you would like. I believe the maximum number of points per given resort is 2,000. So, you can pick any amount between 150 and 2000 for your first contract when purchasing directly from Disney.

You can buy 151 points if you like. The contract can be anything over 150. In the future, if you want to add-on through Disney, it's currently a minimum of 25 points if paying cash and 50 points if financing. But, you could buy 27 points with cash or finance 52 points. You don't have to buy in specific increments once the minimum is met.

Thanks!! I do know you can get more than 150, but then the points all tied together in one contract. I am thinking I might like to have a couple of smaller contracts, but not able to get a second 150 point contract. I also know you can add-on later, but can I "add-on" at the time of my initial purchase or do I need to close on the first one.

I can't specifically answer your question, but do be aware that all add-ons must be 50+ points in order to finance through DVC and 100+ points in order to qualify for any promotional incentives being offered.

If you want a second contract of 99 or less, you'll pay $95 per point with no developer's points or other discount. And, if you want a second contract of 49 or less, you'll also to pay cash for that contract.

Yes you can buy 150 and at the same time buy an add on of a min of 25 points. What I don't know about is financing in this situation and how that works since normally you can't finance less than 50 pts. My guess is they'll roll it into one for financing purposes and I'm sure someone on this board can say for certain.

we are scheduled to close ssr this summer but we already closed on our add on bwv of 75 points. They financed seperately.
